"FOR THE RECALL OF MAYOR HOWARD PEAK"
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- "Petition signatures for a recall election against Mayor Howard Peak are expected to 'peak' if the San Antonio city council and the mayor himself.. vote today to approve further annexations," says Michael Idrogo.
Idrogo has initiated the petition to obtain the necessary signatures from 10 percent of the qualified voters in the city of San Antonio and further states "people jumped at me to get their own copy of the petition whenever I told them about it. They're making more copies and getting the necessary signatures. I've set up a fax, voice-mail, an internet world-wide-web homepage (https://www.angelfire.com/biz/recallpeak), or they can send a mail request; all because many people want to sign petitions."
"The citizens of San Antonio are angry.. angry because of these new annexations.. while they have lived in the city for many years.. are seeing their own neighborhoods go to ruin and neglect. Angry at the B.I.H. blunder on the convention center expansion. And others are upset with the plans for the Sunset Depot.. while AMTRAK passengers and patrons have been kicked out to use a shack or wait out in the cold.. they work on converting the Sunset Depot into a saloon," concludes Idrogo.
