Comments: James is a technical expert, especially on IMS. He understands every Ponderosa application and a large
number of S&A/Benn applications. He works at staying up on current events and gives me articles regularly.
At the moment he's exploring year-2000 issues and accumulating AS400 knowledge.
Specific Developmental Actions to be taken:

Comments: When I need a project done, James gets it done. Whether the projects are large like the ESA conversion
and the IMS 5.1 upgrade, or small like Florida liquor tax by the ounce, he plans out the work and makes it happen
on time.

Comments: Barb Kincaid intentionally informed me about how pleasant her recent interactions with James have been.
Jeff Dover purposefully came to me with numerous accolades for the work James has done for Jeff's department. Jeff
said he has been extremely helpful on several issues. James has improved his sensitivity and credibility with his
users 100%.
Specific Developmental Actions to be taken: Continue building rapport with computer room staff and peers.

Comments: Good judgement and decision making are key elements of James personal abilities. Finding, evaluating,
and fixing problems is James key strength. Solving deposit issues during Xcellent upgrade, restoring "head/pack
crash" data, and A/P to Maintenance Tech invoice problems, are just a few examples.
Specific Developmental Actions to be taken:
5. ACHIEVEMENT OF
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES (Such as ability to set and attain challenging
but realistic goals, ability to make commitments and assume responsibility, etc.)

Comments: James is dedicated to the task at hand. He worked diligently to get IMS 5.1 tested and ready for conversion,
then on live day he worked around the clock to make IMS stable under ESA. I depend on him daily to handle S&A
and Pondo bank deposits and sales, including all of the bank holiday and Christmas contortions.

Comments: Mr. Martin's performance in the last year has been exemplary. He continues to produce outstanding results
because of his work ethic and his planning, technical, and decision making skills. His sensitivity and communication
style with users and peers has improved in a very positive way and should continue to do so.
James is an extremely
valuable player on the MRG team.
