Hi my sweet friend,

I signed your guest book, but decided why not do a testimonial as well. Whenever I hear of someone looking for a malamute I tell them about you and Cascade and how if they want the best to come to one of you. So hope this testimonial is read by many and others are able to find their forever friends. My sweet Wolfie came to our family when he was a year and a half old. From the moment I saw his pictures I knew he belonged with us. I fell in love instantly when looking at his sweet eyes. Even though it was only in pictures as we had not yet met him in person, I just knew he was a big gentle teddy bear. He has proved to be one of the best dogs ever!!! He has the biggest heart and is loving to both people and dogs alike. Everyone that meets him loves him. They often comment how big and beautiful he is. I may be partial, but I agree whole heartedly. I am in the habit of taking Wolfie to doggie day care once or twice a week. They have been able to use Wolfie with dogs who have aggression issues because he is confident and yet gentle. He has helped other dogs learn how to play well with others. Because of his personality these dogs now have “friends” with other dogs because he helped them overcome some of their fears and problems. I have owned Malamutes in the past and currently have two. Wolfie is my first from Nyak Kennels and I have been so pleased that I would recommend Nyak to anyone looking for an Alaskan Malamute. I have had the privilege to get to know Drema over the years and now consider her a dear friend. She always makes time to chat with me and has been a tremendous support when it comes to caring for my Malamutes. She is very knowledgeable in what she does and has a wealth of advise when I am in need of it. Her love for the breed and in each individual malamute is apparent in all that she does. Thank you Drema for the high standards you keep, the kindness you share, and for the gift of my sweet boy Wolfie. You have both enriched my life beyond measure!

Dear Drema

I am truly sorry that this hasn't come to you sooner, but I wanted you to know how much we appreciate you and your dogs! Thank you so very much for our precious Tikaani!! She is a wonderfully alert puppy always interested in everything. Everyone we come in contact with must mention how beautiful (and big J) she is and she loves each and every one of them. A watch dog she is not, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!! She is just now 4 months and has tipped the scales at 50lbs-WOW. I recommend your kennel whole-heartedly and it has to do with your caring personal touch. Your dogs are truly loved by both you and Clay and it comes through in the magnificent puppies that your breedings create. I would wait for another one of your puppies even if someone else had some available. We both truly wish you the best and we will be seeing you soon for our 2nd Nyak Mal!!

Most Sincerely, Sherri & Greg Barnes

Saturday 10/13/2007 11:49:52am E-Mail: malamute@pcwi.net City/Country: California We got our first show Mal from Drema and couldn't have been more pleased. But, Tamie is our Queen as close to human a Mal can get. She knows what I am going to do before I do. She directs everyone because she knows better and they need to learn to listen to her. She crawled in our bed the first day she arrived and claimed it as hers and never left. It was amazing how fast she took over our life. You know Drema, Tamie is different from the others. She is so much more personable. I tell Lil sometimes that I think she is blond. When I am sitting on the couch she comes and sits next to me, pushes her little butt next to me and falls back on me, expecting me to catch her. I always do and she knows that. Then she puts her head on my shoulder as of to say "you're so big and strong what's a girl to do" . I call it her Marilyn Monroe impression.
Much Love Ron / Tamie / Lil

We met when I was searching for my (now 4 year old)pup, Kayte. She's beautiful, strong, and sweeter tempered than I could ever have imagined. Recently we have had the surprising but very welcome addition of Kayte's sister and littermate. She's just as amazing as Kayte and we're so happy to have her. Thank you, Drema, for your dedication and passion for these lovely animals and for the offering me the privilege of sharing my life with the dogs that mean so much to you. You're the best...as a breeder and a friend. *******************************************************

After talking with her one time you know for sure that she is dedicated to her dogs and cares about the Malamute Breed as a whole. Her dogs are beautiful, and cleared by OFA before breeding. Dreama goes the extra mile to produce some of the most beautiful pups I have seen! Thank you Dreama!

Sept. 15, 2005 Early 2003 we lost our 9 year old Malamute to kidney failure. We had the good fortune to learn about Drema and Nyak Kennels. My husband spoke to her several times before making the commitment to purchase a puppy. Drema was always helpful and friendly. Once we made the big decision, Drema kept us updated on the mother, Shawnee. When the litter arrived in November 2004, she emailed us pictures of all the puppies several times a week, updating us on their progress. Purchasing a puppy over the internet was a first for us and we certainly were not disappointed when he arrived. The little fuzzy pup has turned into a very handsome big boned boy. Icepick is very intelligent (to smart, infact!), easy to train and very sweet natured. He loves to play and keeps us entertained with his antics and “talking". People stop us on the street all the time to comment on what a gorgeous dog he is. Drema definitely cares about her dogs. She has bred the best as far as we are concerned. We highly recommend her kennels to anyone wanting a wonderful companion. We certainly won’t hesitate to contact her when we are ready to add another Malamute to our doggie family.
Sincerely,Lisa & Ryan McElroy Santa Rosa, California

My dream as long as I can remember was to own a Malamute. Well in February 2004 my husband told me to find the puppy I wanted. So for weeks I searched the internet til I found the parents that would give birth to my dream. I sent the deposit and waited for my pup to be born. He was born in early March and would be ready to pick up in late April. I had my heart set on a male and 3 were born. When one of the males died, the breeder was offered more money than I was to pay. Well 4 weeks before I was to go pick up my puppy the breeder sent back my deposit and sold my puppy to the person who offered more money, all in the same night. I was broken hearted over this. BUT fate stepped in and led me to Drema and the 5 month old pup she had for sale. When I saw his picture on her web site I fell in Love with him. So I called her back and said "He's mine." Drema and I talked for along time that evening and never once did I feel I was bothering her. She had everything ready by that weekend and on April 4 he flew from Texas to Michigan. Well he arrived here with a limp in his front left elbow. THROUGH NO FAULT OF DREMA'S. When I let Drema know he was going to the vet for this and the day. She called me that same evening to find out how he was. For 2 months I had him in and out of the vet and orthopedic surgeon. They kept trying to tell me it "could" be elbow dysplasia. Which ment over a thousand dollars just to find out for sure. Through all of this nerve racking stress Drema was there, either on the phone or through e-mails. She sent me info. on elbow dysplasia and we both agreed that his symptoms didn't fit wih symptoms of dysplasia. So I decided to give him 3 weeks of complete bed rest to keep him off his leg.(other than eating and potty breaks) I think this was the longest three weeks for Drema and myself ever! She e-mailed me at least once a week if not more for updates. This stroy does have a happy ending though. My now 9 month old, 26 inches at the shoulder and approx. 95 pound, "big boy" is walking, running, jumping and playing with no limp and no signs of ever having a limp. And Drema though thousands of miles aways took the time to be there. So anyone who is looking for a georgeous puppy from a GREAT breeder who REALLY does care!! Then Drema is that breeder. Thank You Drema for restoring my faith in humanity and making my dream come true. And being there through it all with me. Not only has my dream become a reality, I also made a lifetime friend in Drema.

On June 11, 2003, we had no other choice but to have our veterinarian send our beloved 13 year old Alaskan Malamute (our four legged child) into a permanent slumber.  Still grieving and feeling a tremendous void in our lives, we contacted Drema through her website, sent pictures of our girl and the story of our lose in hopes of acquiring a puppy. Drema responded to our email that same day and not just email, she also telephoned us. She was so eager to help ease our pain and put some joy back into our lives, her compassion and kindness for two strangers was just amazing to us. She knew exactly how we felt and she wanted to help.   While waiting for Shawnee's due date in July, we were fortunate enough to get know Drema. Drema not only has an abundance of love for her own dogs but her knowledge is endless as well as her willingness to share what she knows. On September 6, 2003, we welcomed to our home our 8 week old puppy and we couldn't be happier and Drema still continues to be there for us when we have puppy questions and she loves to have regular updates on how her baby is doing in her new home.   If you are seriously looking for an Alaskan Malamute to call your own.....don't look any further because in our opinion you will not find a better person to deal with than Drema, she is warm and caring and at the same time she is professional and trustworthy but If you are looking for an Alaskan Malamute and you do not have a true love for the breed, look elsewhere because Drema  doesn't let her babies go to just anyone.

Sincerely, Riley and Patricia Cook=Fla.
