Question:
Hi...Back in the early 1970's...the USPS came out with Yearly Mint Series
Collectors Packs...well after painstackingly getting everyone since they
started, I believe the started in 1971 ???, I was robbed and all of my
collection was stolen. My cousin who at the same time collected the same
Packs used his collection to later on in the early 1990's as collateral to
get a loan...I was wondering if you knew of anyone person or place I might be
able to contact in order to start a collection again.

Thanking you in advance,

Answer: if you can help , email me and i'll place the answer here

Question. I have a metal picture of the stamp..
the boston tea party. The picture is not
reversed, can you tell me what it is?

answer:

If the metal is the same size as the actual stamps, and its painted the same colors
this could
A: be a pin that was sold by many companies, and yours may be missing
      the pin on the back.

B: Small plaques were made of metal and were framed.

C: at one time the postal service put out christmas ornaments that looked
like stamps, did they make one of the tea party? I don't know..

If it is not painted and is just plain metal, it could be one of the above that
never made it to the paint process, or the paint was removed...

If the item is more a foil then actual hard metal, these were also produced
by 3rd partys and went inside a small envelope. This envelope
opened to reveal the foil stamp , the real stamp and a first day cover...
These types of envelopes were also created using a hard metal stamp.

without seeing it, I can't really help you.... did you look for marks on the back
of who might have made it????

Anyone with any ideas please email me.....i'll postyour answer here
