Jesus didn't come again today,
and thousands of new Saints
received Down Payments for
homes in Heaven, homes begun
before the Founding of the Sun.
Jesus didn't come again today,
and the unfinished Churchs' work
will present its challenge anew
after sol's circling flight
brings tomorrow's golden light.

Many decisions saw He through
as young and old joyously
dedicating themselves to Him,
turned their lives from cancerous sin.
Jesus didn't come again today.
No, remaining on His golden Throne,
obeying Father's wish - He listened
for Trumpet notes to hail
releasing earth's graves from jail.
Jesus didn't come again today.
The announcement was not made.
No Bride. It makes Him sigh and ache,
"Perhaps tomorrow? Oh, may it be?
Yes, perhaps tomorrow! I'll call my Love to me."
