The Features
- Precision
matched components-using proprietary specifications to
ensure symmetrical clipping and reduced intermodulation
distortion. This allows complex chords to be heard with
total definition and clarity at any level of overdrive.
- Ultra true
bypass switching with led indicator- this is achieved by
using an extremely high grade specialized gold contact
switch in addendum oxygen free hookup wire is used between the
jacks and switching to create the most transparent bypass
yet. Barber electronics has put as much work into the
bypass as the overdrive circuit itself.
- Full size
pots- for durability and for easy serviceability if
needed.
- Hand made-we
make the Burn Unit one at a time and each one is signed
and dated by the craftsman.
- Volume knob
responce circuitry-numorous shades and textures at your
fingertips just by adjusting your volume knob.NO DEAD

- Cast
aluminum enclosure-our incredibly durable enclosure will
last decades if not centuries!
- Double sided
pc board with plate through holes-This is the way the
military does it when they want electronics to work
FOREVER! all pedals should be made this way , few
are....once again Barber electronics draws the line in
the sand!
- Replaceable
9 volt battery clip-our battery clip is soldered directly
to real lugs, not a pc board this allows you to replace
your clip in a jiffy without having to take the pc board
out of the enclosure. Our competitors would have you
taking their entire pedal apart to achieve this simple
but sometimes necessary procedure.
- Five knob
control for tonal versatility-The Burn Unit uses Five
control knobs as follows, level, tone, deep, dynamics and
sustain. These controls allow the Burn Unit to produce
sounds ranging from plexi to tweed to blackface and a
stunning simulation of a certain $15,000 overdrive
circuit that will go nameless (but the name does start
with a "D")
