Either copies of the molds were made or the molds moved to Holland and then Germany as painted versions were made at the Marx operations in these countries. Some of the poses were also downsized and sold as hard plastic painted "tinykins". Photos courtesy Gus Wasson.

Examples of Tinykins Actual Size

- DISNEYKINS, FAIRYKINS & TV-TINYKINS AND OTHER HARD PLASTIC PAINTED MARX CARTOON FIGURES

Marx made three distinct series of smaller 30-35mm "comic/cartoon" style figures some of which are smaller versions of the larger 60mm figures seen above. These smaller figures were sold in large sets (as pictured), smaller window box sets with several figures and in individual boxes. Generally hard plastic and painted some also exist in unpainted white soft plastic. To confuse matters Marx then made larger "Disney KING" versions in hard plastic and painted them. As some of the original 60mm molds had gone to Holland where soft plastic painted versions were made it all gets confusing

Wilton of Chicago made copies of Britains swoppets and Marx Babes in Toyland toy soldiers among other figures (usually in Hong Kong). Their Babes in Toy Land are made of hard plastic and hand painted.
