Sports Announcer WCHL Radio, Chapel Hill, NC. Write and deliver four live sportscasts each weekday afternoon. Call play-by-play for U.N.C. women’s basketball and U.N.C. baseball. Report for "Countdown to Kickoff," WCHL’s U.N.C. football pre-game show.

March 1988:

Play-by-play announcer for Charlotte, NC Cablevision’s televised coverage of the North Carolina 1-A and 2-A boys high school state championship games.

June-July 1987:

Reporter for WCHL’s Associated Press Award winning coverage of U.S. Olympic Festival ’87. Reported from the venues of six sports including live reports from diving, field hockey, track & field and the closing ceremonies.

Jan. 1987-Apr. 1988:

Sports Director for U.N.C. Student Television (STV). Shot, wrote, edited and anchored a four minute segment called "Sports Review" for STV’s news program. Announced play-by-play for STV’s coverage of U.N.C. women’s basketball in 1987.

Oct. 1985-Dec. 1986:

Producer and News Director for STV’s weekly news magazine "Campus Profile." Organized and supervised a staff of 30 reporters, editors and photographers. Duties included news and sports photography, writing, videotape editing and reporting.

Aug. 1995-Oct. 1985:

Assistant Producer of "Campus Profile." Assisted in determining the show’s direction and content as well as working in the other areas mentioned above.
