The litter and the people continue to arrive Saturday AM.

People slowly wake up for the day of music on Saturday.

Tents were everywhere.

And people tried to grab some sleep everywhere.

The concert was "Free" by Saturday.  Ask Joe, Ryan, Tim and Jim from Riverhead Long Island.  They walked seven miles to get to the site, but got in free.

The Police told a different story.  "The site is secure and no one can get in without a ticket and passing security."  Not true! They hoped this story would deter crashers.

But by noon on Saturday the crowd was at 250,000 and growing, and we were right in the middle in front of the North Stage..

Joe Cocker gets escorted to the North Stage to repeat his 1969 success.

The Saturday crowd watches Joe Cocker perform on the big screen.

A gate was locked preventing the crowd from moving.  It almost created a panic and injury to those being crushed by the crowd.

The guard decided to unlock the gate preventing any injury.  Nice job!

And then the rain came.  The heat in the early afternoon Saturday was getting to be too much.  When the rain started, the crowd cheered.  It was just like the original Woodstock.

Some decided to take the ultimate advantage of the rain.

At least their cloths were not going to get wet.

Some enhanced the experience with a smoke.

Tired of standing, they sat in a circle and passed the smoke.

If you came unprepared, there were friends to provide.

A helicopter delivers the next performers as the crowd continues to grow.

Rain continues as night falls but the crowd says "It's just like the original Woodstock".

A Woodstock Ventures van slides off the road.  The mud was getting slippery for all..

At 4 AM the official day ended with fireworks.

The crowd cheered with each explosion.

A press staffer sleeps exhausted in the press tent.

He was not alone.  It was a busy two days...and Sunday was still to come.

At 4 AM the North Stage was eerie.  The Metallic "Ritual of the Dead" played out in the mosh pit in front of the stage.

Sunday morning found wet garbage strewn grounds and sleepy concert goers.  Some more comfortable than others.

Mud and garbage were everywhere.

Getting to the portal potties and into the stands was and adventure..

Saturday morning the mud was everywhere.

...and the footing was adventureous.

Slipping and sliding to the bathroom was an adventure.

The Sunday concert continued with security in rain gear.

We met Randy who was looking for a brother he had not seen since the original Woodstock, 25 years earlier.

He had a yellow balloon with his brother's name on it which he floated above the crowd in the hope his brother was at the concert and would see it.

We introduced Randy and his quest for his brother to event Producer Joel Rosenmann.

Randy told his story in the Press Tent in the hope the media would help.
