GOVERNESS FINDER SERVICE
Are you Looking for the very best in child care for your children? We help families find governess referrals who have college degrees and are capable of supervising, tutoring and/or teaching school-aged children in educational studies. The governess is available for full-time, live-in and long-term employment.
The governess salary varies and may range from $600 to $1,000+
per week.
What determines a governess salary? His/her education and experience as a governess, work duties involved, the number of children needing care, the geographical location of the job site, and work schedules help determine the governess pay. Employee benefits for the governess should include health insurance, paid holidays, paid vacations and paid sick days. Provisions should be made for the governess in a private or separate living area within or near the home. If transporting children are a requirement then you should be prepared to provide the governess with a vehicle for his/her use while on and off duty.
Interviewing Procedure
Families will interview available governess referrals in person in the privacy of their homes, offices or in a public place agreed upon by both parties. Unless otherwise suggested by our company, it is the family's responsibility to contact the applicant directly and give him/her job interview specifics, e.g., interview date, time and directions to the job site. After interviewing available applicants, the family is required to contact our office with the results of each interview in a timely manner.
