Pokémon the Card Game is similar to the video game but has some cool differences. In order to win the game you have to get all your prizes first. You get a prize every time you make your opponent's Pokémon faint. If you are a beginner, you should buy a starter deck because it has rules, a holographic card, damage counters and 60 cards to get you started.

Pokémon the card game is not just about playing the game. You can also collect them. The cards have great art work on them especially the holographic cards. There are many different types of decks you can buy( ZAP!, Overgrowth, Brushfire and Blackout decks). Plus there are booster packs. Pokémon the card game doesn't have all 150 Pokémon in it. It has 69 different Pokémon, 26 trainer cards and 7 different energy cards. Some cards will be harder to find, so you're going to have to search to find them or trade with a friend.
