TRANSLATION OF THE

"PERINGATAN UNTUK UMAT ISLAM"

REMINDER FOR MUSLIMS

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamualaikum wbt

O ye of Faith, whether you are a member of UMNO, PAS or not a member of any party, whether you are a YB, Government Officer, Police, Army, corporate person, businessman, teacher, taxi driver, farmer or an unemployed person.

For as long as you proclaim your religion to be Islam, a Believer and a devout Muslim, then ponder upon this note, consider it and act in accordance with your faith!

Our country and the Muslim community are now facing the greatest test since Independence and there must be an immediate remedy for the sake of this society and mankind. The obvious test we are facing is part of our preparation to seek the ship of prosperity so as to overcome challenges and chaos in this Earthly state as a result of our own carelessness in adopting a way of life which is in conflict with the belief of Islam, the values of syariat (rites and ceremonies) and our willingness to reject commands and rules as conveyed by the Prophet p.b.u.h. from what was sent down in the form of holy books or revelations.

Allah says in the Al-Quran, Surah Al-Ahzab 33:36;
Translation: 'It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger, to have any option about their decision: if anyone disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path.'

Through the Prophet, we learn of our God, our origins, our path, we understand what is halal and haram (lawful and forbidden), what is a must or compulsory and what are our obligations as well as our mission.

Unfortunately there are amongst us who were destined to befriend the astrayed Devil. They commit all sorts of heresy, defamation and numerous other acts that would bring about the wrath of Allah. With all forms of authority Allah bestowed upon them, they use it as a means to divide not to unite, to destroy not to build and to baffle not to guide.

Don't we know or don't we want to know? Should we face the wrath of Allah in the Hereafter by allowing those in authority to deprive us as such? Are we willing to let ourselves and our future generations face the wrath of Allah swt and forever living our lives groping in darkness, until we lose our objective and direction?

Allah the Supreme and in the name of the Prophet, Allah shall reward all efforts of promoting Islam and there are no other deeds akin to striving for Allah, forbidding what is wrong and enjoining what is just.

Behold brothers and sisters, Allah shall reward a good deed with goodness, an evil deed with punishment, in this life or in the Hereafter.

Allah says in the Al-Quran, Surah Al-Zalzalah 99:7-8
Translation: 'Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it.'

With realisation and appreciation as well as understanding the principle of truth, the course of justice, the meaning of welfare, by the Will of Allah we shall never be embroiled in evil and hardship, in fact Allah swt shall reciprocate and withhold all calamities because Allah swt is Most Gracious, Most Merciful and Who has perfect knowledge between which is good and bad.

Allah says in the Al-Quran, Surah Al-Mulk 67:14
Translation: 'Should He not know, He that created? And He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-acquainted (with them).'

Worship none other than Allah and that Muhammad pbuh is His Messenger, is our undivided solemn vow which shall never be exchanged, in fact this is the sign of true muslims and the signs of true muslims are their undivided love towards Allah and His Messenger. Faithful Muslims would not tolerate acts of belittling the rules of Allah and His Messenger and its isolation from their way of life but for the Hypocrites who have diseases in their hearts, these are merely decorations and points for conversations.

Allah says in the Al-Quran, Surah Al-Nur 24:47-51
Translation: 'They say, "We believe in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obey": but even after that, some of them turn away: they are not (really) Believers. When they are summoned to Allah and His Messenger, in order that He may judge between them, behold, some of them decline (to come). But if the right is on their side, they come to him with all submission. Is it that there is a disease in their hearts? Or do they doubt, or are the in fear, that Allah and His Messenger will deal unjustly with them? Nay, it is they themselves who do wrong. The answer of the Believers, when summoned to Allah and His Messenger, in order that he may judge between them, is no other than this: they say, "We hear and we obey": it is such as these that will attain felicity.'

And that, Allah says in the Al-Quran, Surah An-Nisa' 4:60-61
Translation: 'Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who declare that they believe in the revelations that have come to thee and to those before thee? Their (real) wish is to resort together for judgement (in their disputes) to the Evil One, though they were ordered to reject him. But Satan's wish is to lead them astray far away (from the Right). When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah hath revealed, and to the Messenger": thou seest the Hypocrites avert their faces from thee in disgust.'

Note that these verses describing the Hypocrites are quoted to illustrate their attitude towards the rites of Allah and His Messenger.

Allah says in the Al-Quran, Surah An-Nisa' 4:61
Translation: 'When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah hath revealed, and to the Messenger": thou seest the Hypocrites avert their faces from thee in disgust.'

Therefore, whoever overlooks this reminder by refusing to understand these verses and simply accepts the custom laws and values of life that clearly contradicts Islam, surely must have consented with the Hypocrites and Evil as well as rejecting their religion.

The willingness of Muslims towards the government and the law makers which acted wrongfully, insulting the Islamic scholars and determining something without considering the Islamic rites amounts to supporting and upholding the Unbelievers and the perverts.

This is what Allah has decreed in the Al-Quran as the Unbelievers, the
trangressors and the perverts, for they are not fit to be leaders amongst you as in

Allah says in the Al-Quran, Surah Al-Maidah 5:44
Translation: '… If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath
revealed, they are (no better than) Unbelievers.'

And that, Allah says in the Al-Quran, Surah Al-Maidah 5:45
Translation: '... And if any fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath
revealed, they are (no better than) wrongdoers.'

Therefore, the Unbelievers, perverts and transgressors are opposites of faith. Thus is it appropriate to equate the Faithful with them for Allah swt has revealed in His decree:

Allah says in the Al-Quran, Surah Al-Sajdah 32:18
Translation: 'Is then the man who believes no better than the man who is
rebellious and wicked? Not equal are they.'

Consequently, those who do not observe the rules as decreed by Allah, they are categorised as Unbelievers, transgressors and perverts by virtue of their beliefs and personalities which considers what was decreed by Allah as out of date and backwards. Are those (rules) created by them, as human beings, considered advanced and constructive that it would benefit the community and would enhance life on earth and in the Hereafter? They seems to have forgotten the verses and the rules of Allah swt.

The reason for Allah to recite such matters is none other than to remind Muslims to refrain from behaving like those who adopted rites other than the rites of Allah swt. Actually if it is repeated and we still adhere to it, surely the anger and the wrath of Allah swt can no longer be avoided, thus calamities awaits this beloved nation as revealed

Allah says in the Al-Quran, Surah Al-Taha 20:81
Translation: ' …. lest My Wrath should justly descend on you and those on whom descends My Wrath do perish indeed!'

SUMMARY

1. There are no other choices but two, either Allah or the Evil One. Who is Allah and who is the Evil One?

- Allah, our Creator and to Whom we put our trust and to Whom we repent and only to Him shall we return.

- For the Evil One, they are the Unbelievers, transgressing perverts who resorts to certain rites of law with the authority Allah has granted to them, in a wrongful manner as well as insinuating slanders towards those faithful to Allah and thus thrown into the ravine of ignorance.

2. The Best decision maker or Ruler is only Allah swt.

- The rules revealed by Him are compulsory and can never be wronged by any muslim. The right to rule by way of laws, albeit in forms of instructions or prohibitions but contradicts with the rites as revealed, must be opposed.

- Fear none but only of Allah swt and be in agreement to oppose what is wrong and enjoining what is just. The principles presented are supported clearly by Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah.

3. Abiding with the revelations decreed by Allah does not preclude the role of mankind.

- People of the Books, Islamic scholars who truly obeys Allah would always guide the people to understand the verses directed towards mankind. In fact it is their duty to fill up the void and muster good characteristics as consented by Allah within the Muslim society until a society of Ulu Al-Albab which are not afraid to use their ability to think to seek and striving for the truth exist.

CONCLUSION

As faithful Muslims are we going to allow an Evil leader to destroy us in this world and the Hereafter? Are we as the Ummat of Muhammad p.b.u.h. to hold our silence and with that consent overwhelmingly to acts of transgression and to allow the mockery of Allah's decree?

ARISE! BE AWARE!

State your stand aloud. Show your discontentment towards the Evil One before Allah shows His anger upon you.

Remember! Allah shall always protect those who have faith in Him.
