From the York Academy of Arts, York Pennsylvania, to a renowned Porcelain studio in New Jersey, to his studio in Bangor, Pennsylvania, Larry S. Bartosh's talent and skills have developed through inspiration and dedicated training. Larry's work reflects a man whose resourcefulness and imagination led him away from the commercial art world to be a fine artist , teacher, and naturalist.

Larry's style is truly unique as it is inspiring from his observations of many species of wildlife in their natural habitat. Animals were a natural choice for Larry: He was born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia and later the Blue Ridge Mountains of Pennsylvania. His backyards were the hills and valleys of the mountains, Where he spent much of his time enjoying what they had to offer.

Larry's distribution of sculptures is throughout the world. He has many porcelain sculptures in capital buildings of China, Russia, and the United States. He also has many sculptures in private collections in Germany, New Zealand, England and throughout the United States.

His large works on commercial sites also include life-size bronzes of human individuals and wildlife in Their environments. His work has been selected for awards to be given to individuals who excelled in environmental achievements at the DuPont Company . The United Way of Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania chose his work as gifts for selected contributors of the United Way, as did Remington Firearms for a select group of editors and publishers of national hunting and wildlife magazines.

He was commissioned by Heredities of England, a company that produced realistic wildlife in a media called bonded bronze. These sculptures have been distributed throughout the world.
