FOCUSING:

Separate coarse and fine focusing controls. The slides travel on ball bearing guide-ways, enabling highest degree of sensitivity and eliminates back lash errors.

OPTICS:

The K Series Microscopes are fitted with our Parachromatic ST Type objectives. These objectives are especially designed for the critical requirements of Research, incorporating a unique centring and parfocalising mechanism, giving the user freedom to enhance the performance with due regarded to specimen and microscope parameters.

For maximum observer comfort, our newly designed HKW 10x occulars combine a wide field of view with a high eye point. Colour correction and field flatness are outstanding and these along with our achromatic objectives complete the specially developed compensating system. Huygenian 6x eyepieces are also provided. All air-glass surfaces are ANTI-REFLECTION COATED.

OBSERVATION HEAD

The K Series ofers the option of both observation heads, i.e. Monocular and Binocular, rotatable through 360 degrees, inclined at an angle of 45 degrees off the horizontal. All prisms are ANTI-REFLECTION COATED.

ILLUMINATION SYSTEM:

A choice of illumination systems exists for your specific requirements.
 

• KL - The built in illumination system incorporates a 6V - 20W halogen lamp with electronically variable luminosity control. Quick replacement of bulb is provided without opening the base or electricals.

• KD - features a plano concave mirror mounted in a well contoured base.

OTHER FEATURES:
