BIO XL
OPTICS:
Newly designed and developed High Quality Achromatic Objectives (Parafocal distance: 45 mm), gives you details never seen before in simple achromats. Sharper resolution and extra flat field of view, make viewing a pleasure. Combined with high eye-point compensating widefield eyepieces, they provide a color free image.
CONVENIENT FOCUSING MOVEMENT:
The CO-AXIAL focusing system incorporates a very precise and wear resistant linear bearing mechanism that eliminates vibration and backlash. The coarse adjustment knob has a built-in control to increase or decrease the tension of the focussing knob by rotating the Tension adjustment ring. The fine focus knob is graduated in 0.01 mm increments.
REFOCUSING LEVER:
The lever can be set at the desired focusing position of the coarse adjustment for easier refocussing, even at higher magnifications. It also helps to prevent collisions between objective and specimen due to accidental stage movement.
LARGE MECHANICAL STAGE:
The 150 x120 mm stage plate incorporates a linear bearing mechanism with right-hand low-positioned CO-AXIAL movement controls. It has a travel range of 75 x 45 mm with a vernier scale which can be read to 0.01 mm.
NOSEPIECE:
Precision built, quadruple revolving nosepiece traveling on ball bearings ensures a common field center on changing magnifications and re-introduction.
ILLUMINATION & LIGHT CONTROL:
Powered by a 6V - 20W halogen light source, the illumination system provides a bright and even illumination at any magnification. The lamp is precentered for your convenience. Replacement of lamp can be done without opening of base or electrical. The light intensity control is separate from the power switch, You can turn the power on and off without changing the desired voltage settings.
ANTI MOULD PROTECTION:
BENZ introduces, for the first time in country, a totally mould protected microscope. Mould formation is a menance in most of the world, with moderate to high temperatures, high humidity and air pollution. All these factors encourage mould formation which could etch into the optical surfaces and permanently damage them. BENZ's protection treatment ensures mould-free viewing a boon in the present environmental conditions.
DUAL VIEWING ATTACHEMT:
An ideal tool for conference between researchers, pathologist, teacher and their counterparts. It enables simultaneous observation of the object by two persons. Both viewers see the same sharp, bright image at the same time.
An illuminated pointer appears in both viewers field of view. A universal movement lever control allows the pointer arrow to be positioned anywhere in the field of view.
DIRECT EXPOSURE SET UP: (for micro photography):
BENZ introduces, for the
first time in the country, the direct exposure technique for
micro photography, wherein the image formed by the objectives is
projected directly onto the film through a projection lens,
eliminating any relays lens system or beam splitters in between.
PHASE CONTRAST EQUIPMENT:
A useful attachment, it eliminates the need and time involved in treating specimens with chemical stains. Possible distortion or damange to the specimen caused by such treatment is also eliminated. The natural behavior of organisms may be observed and studied more advantageously and cellular structure of transparent specimens as cells, bacteria, protozoa, tissue, emulsions, plastics, fibres and crystals are revealed as never before under the conventional cimpound microscope.
The five station turret condenser provides positions for objectives 10x, 20x, 40x 100x and a bright field position with an Iris diaphragm. Special non-reflective multilayer coatings applied in the phase rings of the objectives ensure ultimate depth of vison. A high transmission green interference filter is provided for maximum contrast, along with centring telescope.

with our time tested DIN Achromatic Objectives, designed as per
German Standards of Optical Excellence. Fully Parafocal and
perfectly pre-centered, these Objectives give you details, never
seen before. Sharper Resolution and extra flat field of view,
make viewing a strain - free pleasure. Coupled with our Standard
High Eyepoint (25mm) Compensating Extra Wide field (Field No.18)
Eyepieces, they provide a colourfree image. The Standard
Microscope is supplied with four Objectives-Achro 4x,Achro 10x,
Achro 40x(SL) and Achro 100x Oil (SL), and a pair of WF 10x/18
Eyepieces. Optionally, Objectives Achro 20x (SL) and Achro 60 x (SL)
and Eyepieces Huy. 6x & WF 15x are available.

provides accurate location of the specimen area.

controlled knob. The Illumination is further enhanced through
well designed illuminator lens system and a substage Abbe
Condenser with N.A 1.25 and built in Iris Diaphragm and Filter
Holder. Optionally, the Bright Field Condenser can be easily
replaced by Phase Contrast Turret or Dark Field Condenser.

Surfaces of the lenses and Prisms, are ANTI-REFLECTION coated, to
eliminate light losses to the maximum.
