Since the web page entitled "Hand Of God" was placed on the internet May 11, 1999, over a million people have accessed the page. This number in itself demonstrates the power of the "Hand of God" at work because the page has not been registered in any search engines. Individuals who felt the overwhelming need to share what they saw in the picture with others are passing the link around via email. The reason I placed the page on the internet was to enable my personal internet friends to view the picture without the hassle of downloading the actual files. It was not my intention for the site to "Touch" so many people, but apparently God had another idea. The page has blessed thousands. I can only give God the praise and the glory.

The purpose of this page is to answer some of the questions I've received via email, which averages 200 per day. I've tried to personally answer as many as I could but the number has just grown to an unmanageable size.

A coworker gave the picture to me.

I was told at the time I received the photograph that my coworker's neighbor took the photograph. I have since received many emails claiming to have the same picture, taken in different places and at different times. I have tried to answer such email in search for the "true" owner. All of the stories are different. On July 12, 1999 HBO presented a documentary entitled "Fatal Twisters" where the same picture was featured. All of which adds to the mystery of this whole thing.

When I received the picture I scanned it twice. Once in the original position and next turned 90° counter clockwise. I then saved the images in a JPEG format using the photo editing software called Paint Shop. I am not a photographer and do not have the skills to alter the picture.

At the present time I don't have the right to distribute the photograph due to the lack of evidence as to who owns it. It was not my intention to profit from this.

Each person will have his or her own feelings about the picture. What I saw was Jesus reaching out his hand of protection to keep the tornado from touching the ground. Even in the midst of storms and trials in life the Lord is always there for us.
