CC DANCE CREW – Policies


READ THROUGH ALL POLICIES BELOW PRIOR TO REGISTERING.

TUITION: Monthly Tuition is to be paid by the 1st day of each month online at CinderellaDance.com - “Online Payments” link. On the 3rd, a $20 late fee will be added and an invoice will be emailed. Tuition is on a monthly basis regardless of the number of weeks in each month. No refunds, discounts or credits for absences or holidays.

Monthly fees for CC Dance Crew are: $125/mo = CcDanceCrew Performance Team -1 hour weekly classes. $125/mo = CcDanceCrew Competition/Acro Team -1 hour weekly classes.

ATTENDANCE: Good attendance is imperative, as absences and tardiness can hold back the entire team. The studio cannot jeopardize it's responsibilities to the rest of the team for one team member. Please make EVERY effort to have your child attend EVERY practice. Team members who miss the last practice, before a performance, will not be able to participate in that performance. Team members that miss 3 or more practices in a row will be removed from the team and placed in a regular class. Team members that miss 5 or more classes in a season will be considered for removal from the team and placed in a regular class. Students must begin practices the 1st week in September in order to be a member of the Corpus Christi Dance Crew. There will be no exceptions.

DROPPING: Team members, that decide to quit the team, will be required to give a 30-day written notice to Cinderella to terminate billing. Please note: You are responsible for payment of tuition for you child's classes whether or not your child attends class during the 30 days after the time you turn in your 30-day written notice. Emails or Facebook messages are not sufficient.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Enrollment at another studio or gym or joining another team will be grounds for dismissal if it creates a conflict of interest.

Students who are placed on the dance team on probationary status will be subject to dismissal for subsequent infractions.

HOLIDAYS: July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Spring Break, Easter & Memorial Day.

DRESS CODE: Any color, any style dance wear, black tap shoes, black jazz shoes, and pink ballet shoes. Hair MUST be pulled back away from face in a pony tail at all times. Team members are expected to wear the proper attire to every practice and have their hair fixed correctly.

NO FOOD, GUM, TOYS or DANGLE JEWELRY
allowed during practice! Team members are not allowed to bring friends with them.

ARRIVE no more than 5 min prior to class. Doors open at class time. Do n ot stand on the porch or knock.

BE SURE TO TAKE DANCERS TO THE BATHROOM prior to dance class as potty breaks interrupt our dance time.

ANY OUTBURSTS, RUDE BEHAVIOR/COMMENTS, DISRESPECT OR REFUSAL TO COMPLY(by students or their family members) at the studio or any studio/dance team event will NOT be tolerated and is grounds for immediate dismissal from enrollment at Cinderella.

GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP: Good Sportsmanship is imperative to the success of the CC Dance Crew. Students and parents are expected to act in a good sportsmanship manner at all practices and performances. Not doing so, can cause a team member to be removed from the team and placed in a regular dance class.

PERFORMANCES: The CC Dance Crew will have various performances throughout the year including the recital in June. Team members are expected to participate in the performances and must participate the recital performances. Team members are required to stay for the entire performance and will be dismissed after the final bow. They must wear the correct team performance costume for each routine. Hair worn in half pony tail (half up, half down) with black elastic pony tail holder. No other hair pieces & no jewelry. Team members who wear incorrect costumes will not be able to perform in the routine. Team members, who repeatedly miss performances, will be removed from the team and placed in regular classes. INSURANCE: Cinderella School of Dance does not carry insurance for it's students. It is required that all students be covered by their own family insurance policy and, if injury occurs, it is understood that the student's own policy is their only source of re-imbursement. Cinderella School of Dance is not responsible for accidents or any loss of property.

Since the establishment of the studio in 1972, our goal has been to instill students with the highest standards of excellence, beauty and joy of dance. Technique and style are emphasized in all dance disciplines and each student's ability, progress and achievement is monitored to assure that they grow & advance to full potential. But, more important, we pair professionalism with a caring heart to assure memorable experiences & well-being for all those involved.
