Strongly suggested parental advisory: This episode is not recommended for readers under 18, or those who are offended by very strong sexual content and mild violence.

Previously, on Friends and Foes:

Alex met Candice and asked her on a date.

Candice gave Kaveh 2000 dollars for a white envelope. What is in it?

Lyndsay plans to cheat on Brandon to be with Taylor, whom she has just met, but her roommate, Josie, insists that she stay loyal to Brandon.

Jeff was kidnapped and Kortni Hope is now hot on his track.

She interrogated Devin, who attends the University of San Diego, California.

WASHINGTON D.C. - FBI HEADQUARTERS

It is two days after Kortni’s interview with Devin, and she has returned to Washington D.C to file some quintessential documents and the tapes.

Kortni walks out of the FBI HeadQuarters, down the stone steps, and in to the dark and lonely street. Wearing but a black skirt and a white turtleneck sweater in the damp rainy atmosphere of the city, Kortni makes her way to her car. She takes off her glasses as she reaches into her purse and grabs for her car keys.

Suddenly, someone grabs Kortni from behind. She screams in shock as the person violently throws her to the ground. Kortni reaches for her gun nestled nicely in her stocking, but the mugger kicks it, sending it sprawling into the middle of the street.

Tears stream down Kortni’s cheeks as the mugger slaps a hand on her mouth and drags her into a dark alley. She is at her lowest form, defenseless and vulnerable to the intentions of the mysterious attacker.

"I come not to hurt you, but to give you information on the kidnapping of Jeff Moore." A voice emerges from the attacker.

Kortni pulls away from the person angrily, wiping her horrified tears from her chin. "What? Then what the Hell was all this about?" She screams.

"Shhh! They could be anywhere. In fact, they were probably watching you until I pulled you back here."

Chills are sent down Kortni’s spine. She rubs warmth in to her instantly cold arms. "What are you talking about? Who is they? More importantly, who are you?"

"I’ve been looking for you for a long time, Kortni..."

Kortni interrupts, "It’s Hope to you. Agent Hope. Now, if what you have to say is worth the jack-@$$ you’ve made of yourself by assaulting an Agent of the FBI, I’m all ears. If not, you’re asking to be Big Bertha’s Ho in jail. That being said, please continue."

"Agent Hope ... I’ve been looking for you for a long time," The figure emerges from the darkness. Her identity is shocking, "Once again I have information about Jeff. My name is Brandi Vandal."

"Vandal...Vandal...I know the name..." Kortni says, searching Brandi’s face.

"You may have seen me in the papers..."

After a hesitating to remember the details of this girl’s history, Kortni reacts. "Oh my God, you’re the psychotic from Colorado who blew up the bus!" Kortni says, her eyes wide with astonished recognition, "From Pine Valley...the same bus where Jeff Moore was reported a casualty. He was recovered two weeks later, alive but mutilated. He was locked in the morgue by your pal Tristan Lionel Bany, then was found by some doctors. He escaped right in time to save his friends from your THIRD attempt to kill them in the same month! You were found not guilt by reason of insanity, did your time, and walked out a free woman."

"You’ve done your homework." Brandi says, impressed.

"So why do you want to help now? If anything, you would want Jeff to suffer, wherever he is."

"The truth is, and please excuse my being blunt, I was never insane."

Kortni laughs. "Listen, woman. I don’t have time for your reindeer games."

"And I don’t have time for a self-centered cop who’s too busy admiring her track record to help find Jeff Moore! Now listen, this is a long story, and I will only say it once!" Brandi snaps.

"You did NOT just call me a cop."

"Are you going to listen to what I have to say or not?" Brandi says.

"Tell me everything you know." Kortni says as she pulls a tape recorder from the pocket in her skirt, and presses the record button.

TAYLOR AND ALEX’S DORM - USC

Lyndsay knocks on the door. She adjusts herself in all the right places, just as Taylor opens the door to greet her.

"Hey Lyndsay." Taylor says. She smiles and walks into his living room.

"Hi, Taylor." Lyndsay says as she takes a seat on the couch and motions Taylor to follow. "There’s something we need to talk about."

Taylor’s smile turns into a confused frown as he sits next to her, "Yeah?"

Lyndsay hesitantly looks into his eyes, "Well, actually, I didn’t plan on doing any talking."

She leans in towards Taylor, and they start kissing passionately, exchanging one another’s tongues in each others mouth. After a few moments, Lyndsay seductively takes off her shirt and slowly straddles Taylor on the couch.

"Hmm, I feel something strange." Lyndsay smiles mischievously as she slips her bra off.

"Will your roommate be in any time soon?" Taylor asks, as he starts kissing the corner of her mouth.

"We have about 2 hours together. She down at some restaurant with her boyfriend Robert. She’s going to walk home later."

Taylor looks up at her and starts kissing her again, then moves down and starts kissing her neck, and then her chest. After another few moments, he stands up a swiftly clears the table before him, knocking all the items to the floor. He firmly lifts Lyndsay up and lays her on the table. She rips off his shirt and pulls him into her. They kiss passionately as they lose whatever remaining clothes they have left and proceed to have dirty sex on the living room table.

"Happy Valentine’s Day." Lyndsay whispers into Taylor’s ear, which she proceeds to suck on.

"You too."

MOVIES - NIGHT

Lip smacking beats out the sounds of a deep conversation in the film. Past the flickering light of the cheesy chick flick playing in the theatre, and in the conspicuous shadows of the backseats, Alex and Candice sit side by side. Doing more than eating popcorn.

They take a break from their make out session.

"This is fun!" Candice says with a grin on her face.

"Tell me about it." Alex says, as he leans in for another kiss. He runs his hand over her thigh, and she shudders in pleasure as he continues to tenderly kiss this girl.

He has found Candice to be the object of his every desire, the girl he wants to be with day and night, the girl who he can’t stop thinking about and that causes him sleepless nights and endless days. She is gorgeous, her flowing hair and fair skin, her tender lips and her deep sensual eyes are in his mind constantly. She has made him laugh like never before, and her personality is the object of his idolatry. He lives and breathes to be with her. He has fallen head over heels in love with her, and he can no longer resist his attraction to her.

He moves his mouth to her neck and gently and lovingly sucks on it. She giggles in delight as his hand slides softly up her thigh, until suddenly Candice gets nervous and pulls his hand away.

"What are you doing?" Candice says.

Alex pulls his lips away from her neck, and answers smartly, "Anything you want me to."

Alex leans in and kisses Candice again, and she giggles. "I like the sound of that."

CANDICE’S DORM UNIT PARKING LOT - AN HOUR LATER

Alex’s Ford Explorer pulls up in the small driving lot, the damp air signifying a forthcoming rainfall.

Candice hops out of the car, and goes to the driver’s seat window, where she gives Alex a deep, long kiss.

"See you later baby." She says.

"I hope ‘later’ is soon." Alex smiles.

"Me too." Candice giggles, then recalls something, "Oh, yeah! I almost forgot! I got you a little Valentine’s Day card."

She reaches into her pockets and hands Alex an envelope. "Thanks."

"Oh, its no problem. It’s nothing compared to the roses you got me." Candice blushes.

Alex laughs. "Happy Valentine’s Day." He kisses her again, the hits the ignition and drives off.

Candice is left smiling. "I hope he likes it."

As she is walking toward her dorm room, she reaches into her pocket and brings out an envelope. "Finally, I get to use this thing."

Still walking to her dorm, she tears open the envelope and grabs ... a valentine’s day card.

Her eyes go wide with terror as she screams in the middle of the parking lot. "OH MY GOD! Alex has the wrong envelope!"

STREET - NIGHT

Alex tucks the envelope into the pocket of his sweater while driving down a dark and quiet street towards his dorm building. As his white Ford Explorer turns a corner into an alley, he realizes that the darkness is a little overwhelming. He flips on his headlights.

He changes the station on his radio, and starts to sing along to the song that is playing. "Don’t wanna be a fool for you, just another player in your game for two, and you may hate me but it ain’t no lie, baby bye bye..."

Before Alex can sing another verse, he looks up for a brief instant to see something horrifying. He gasps and steers abruptly to the left, trying to swerve out of the way and avoid hitting it. But, it is too late. Alex yells in terror and a loud thump echoes through out his car, as the girl he has hit violently slams into the hood of the car and smashes into the windshield. Shards of glass shatter to the interior of the car, as the helpless girl rolls off the car and lands harshly on the street.

The Explorer’s alarm is sounding off loudly in the midst of this chaos. Alex throws open the door and hops out of the car in complete horror, running to the girl’s motionless body which lays on the side of the street between a couple of metal trash cans that have been tipped over.

Alex wipes away some trash from her face and body, and moves the trash can aside as he lays the girl on her back.

A trickle of blood has emerged from her nose and mouth, and Alex can do nothing but look on frantically, confused as to what he should do.

"Oh My God...oh my God..." Alex says, thoughts racing through his head. What would he do if she has died? What if she is paralyzed forever? He was paralyzed once too, and he knew how it felt. What if she is alive? He can’t just leave her their to suffer. But what if she is dead? The police are bound to arrive any moment and he would be arrested for murder or manslaughter or some other God-awful punishment. The alarm continues to beep in the background, making Alex more nervous.

He closes his eyes, and hesitantly places his fingers on the girl’s neck, frightened as to what the outcome might be, yet anxious to discover the girl’s fate. He waits, then opens his eyes.

"Oh no. She’s dead."

Frantically, he picks up her body in his arms. Unnoticeably, the envelope slips out of Alex’s pocket as he worriedly carries her to his car. Looking around nervously, yet moving with haste to out run any police, Alex opens the trunk of his car and abruptly tosses the girl in. Then he slams the trunk shut and jumps into the driver’s seat.

Although Alex is clueless as to the girl’s identity, we know from closer look that the girl he has killed is ... Josie Lische.
