CHAPTER 5
At the studio 1:16 pm in Minda's office
KNOCK KNOCK
"Come in" Minda said. When the door opened she saw Justin standing in the doorway with a big smile.
"Justin right?" Minda asked. "Yeah! So I've noticed that you have something for JC!!" Justin said as he wiggled his eyebrows. "And what place in my life do you have, to know about who I do or don't have a thing for?" "Well let's just say I'm gonna be your new best friend!!" "Why is that Justin?" "Because you are never gonna get me to leave you alone so there for you will see how lovable I can be and you'll begin to tell me everything that goes on in your life" "Sorry but your a little too late for that buddy I already have two best friends that I tell everything to and I don't need another one" "Aw shucks that's too bad cuz you have to put up with me anyways!! So what's up with you and JC? I know there is something going on by the way you two looked at each other today!!" "There is nothing going on with me JC end of story!! Now if you would, please leave me alone, I have to work on your web site!" "But, but..." "But nothing, Justin go!" "Fine but only cuz your older than I am but your not getting rid of me that easily I'll be back!!!" "Goodbye Justin"
The stubborn little 18 yr. old left the room and Minda continued to work on the web site. A couple hours later another knock on her door sounded so she stood up to go open it.
"Is everyone of you going to come and visit me today? Anyway, your Chris?" "That's me!! So who have you had come visit?" "Well it's more like bug!! Just kidding, well I had joey show me to my office then he went off to go get JC to turn on the computer for me and then when I came back from lunch with JC, Justin dropped in to bug me about my private life!! And now your here so I guess that leaves lance!" "Interesting day!" "Uh-huh so want can I do for you?" "I just dropped in to say hi and see how the web site was coming along!! can I see it?" "Well I'm not sure it is kinda top secret if you know what I mean!!" "Ok I see how it is I'll just wait for it to be put up on the web" "Well if you really want to see it now I guess you could but that's only if you REALLY want to!!" "Oh yes please please please!!" "OK!!"
Chris browsed around for a couple of minutes and then turned to Minda.
"That's really cool so far, all you need now are bio's on me, Lance, Joey, and Justin!! You seem to have JC down perfectly" "Oh yeah that's just because he told me about himself today during lunch." "No need to explain I know how it is. You like him more than the rest of us!!! Uh I can't even look at you anymore!!!" Chris said pretending to cry. "No Chris that's not it I've always loved YOU most!!" Minda said being very dramatic. "OK!!" Chris added at the end of the little scenerio with a big grin on his face. "Well now that that's over I better be getting back to the web site" "What else are you going to do on it? You don't seem to have any info on us" "Oh yes I do!!" "Where is your proof?" "The millions of pages that are written about you all over the internet" "Really?!" "Well not really but I do have your European site and from there I'll add to your bio's and put news and all that good stuff up!" "Sounds like a good plan see yah later" "Bye Chris"
Chris left and Minda continued searching through the European site. About a half hour later at around 4:15 another person knocked at Minda's door.
"Come in Lance" She yelled and who would of guessed that his head is the one that popped in the door.
"How did you know it was me?" Lance asked. "Let's just say I have special powers!!" Minda said as she wiggled her fingers at him and opened her eyes wide. "Wow!! Really? Can I see?" "No and no" "Then how did you know it was me?" "Because you're the only person that hasn't knocked on that door today, except for Lou but he's not here and he doesn't count" "So everyone has had their own special time with you except me?" he said in a puppy dog face. "Yep" "What did Justin talk to you about?" "Well he rudely barged in and started asking me questions about my private life and saying that he's my new best friend" "Oooh so in other words he made an ass of himself?" "Yep I guess you could say that!!" "So what are you doing tonight?" "Nothing that I know of at the moment. I was probably going to go out to a club with my best friends. Why?" "Cuz me and the guys are going out to a club and I was wondering if you wanted to come along, you could bring your fiends with if you want." "That's a good idea hold on let me call them" "Ok"
Minda got off the internet to call her friends when she got a great idea.
"Hey lance can you help me play a trick on my friends?" "Ok sure what do you want me to do?" "Call them for me and ask them to the club but don't say your name!!" "Ok you just tell me there name's and dial the number" "Ok hold on"
Minda told him the names then dialed the number.
"Hello?" "Hi could I please speak to Janine or Shayna?" "May I ask who's calling" "I shall remain nameless" "Look buddy I can't let you speak to them if you don't state you name!!" "Ok it's George" "Ok George this is Janine what do you want?" "Could you meet me and some of my friends at the club on 64th street off of Talmah?" "I guess what time?" "8:00 and look for your friend Minda she'll be with us" "What have you done to her?" "Just come to the club"
Lance hung up the phone and looked down at Minda who couldn't help but fall on the ground laughing.
"So what did they say?" She said still on the ground. "Well Janine answered and thinks that we did something to you" "Perfect thanks. Hey do you want to walk me to my car?" "Sure come on"
The two walked out of the building laughing at the little joke that had just happened.
"Thanks again Lance you'll pick me up at 8:00? Here are the directions bye" "Bye"
