CHAPTER 17
Justin lay on Ariel's bed, his eyes closed. He was tense, worried that he might lose the best thing that had ever happened to him. He let out a loud sigh and slammed his fists down on the bed in frustration.
"Hey Sugar....what seems to be the problem?" Ariel asked in a sultry voice as she leaned against the doorjamb
Justin's eyes popped open in surprised at Ariel's husky voice. He propped himself up on one elbow and stared at her for a moment before speaking.
"I was just thinking about how empty my life would be without you." Justin said bluntly
"Who said I'm going anywhere?" Ariel asked as she moved from the doorway to sit beside him on the bed
"You're not going anywhere, I am. I have to leave in a few days...."
"So...."
"What do ya mean, 'so'? Don't you feel anprumgh."
Ariel cut off Justin's speech by kissing him soundly on the lips. When she lifted her head, Justin looked at her with dazed eyes.
"Baby, where you go, I go."
"Oh Ariel! You've made me the happiest man alive!" Justin caressed her cheek before kissing her with ardor. Ariel immediately responded to his kiss. That night, the two made love and promises to be best friends, partners and lovers.
