Solar system similar to our is discovered! '

Multiple planets have been found orbiting a star in much the same way ours do around our star.  The star this discovery is referring  to is no#. 47 Ursa Major. One of the stars that are part of the Constellation Ursa Major in the Big Dipper.

Many planets have been found far outside our solar system but their orbits are tight and erratic around their stars. The two planets discovered travel in nearly circular orbits at a distant similar to the distances beyond Mars but within the orbit of Jupiter.

One of these planets is 2.5 times the size of Jupiter, and the other one is three-quarters as large. 

Ursa Major Constellation is about 51 light years away from earth in the Big Dipper. One of the most distinctive asterisms in the sky.

 John Edwards is a psychic who claims he can communicate with the dead. His show "Crossing Over with John Edwards", is a big hit and can be seen on cable networks as well as local channels.

On his show he'll seem to choose people at random and he will say things about loved ones who have gone over to the other side. Sometimes he'll say something like, "I'm sensing a father figure, an older person, someone who has passed on", he says as he points to a section in the stands, "someone from this part of the audience".  Suddenly someone screams out, "Yes Yes..Me!" and he continues with his reading. 

Mostly he'll tell them things that are good for them. He never says anything that might cause them further grief. In fact, some seem happier as they leave his show than when they arrived.

Many are trying to expose him as a fake. They say he has people listen in on the audience as they wait in a special room before show and that he has microphones and cameras in the waiting room.

 Whatever it may be, and however he does it, nonetheless, he is entertaining and amazing.

Police Dog Tragedy at World Trade Center!

A police dog which helped search for survivors at the WTC has been shot dead by no other than two other police officers. They mistook the dog for a stray. They shot it 11 times as his handler was off somewhere else. Apparently the handler, Sgt. John Gillespie was chasing a suspect while the dog subdued a 12 year old girl by clamping its jaws on one of her legs.

When two other officers arrived, they tried to pull the dog off the girl. If they had known it was a police dog they would have realized that only the handler could order him to release the girl. The police, thinking it was a stray dog, tried to forcefully make the dog release her and the dog bit one of them.  The officers then shot the dog. 

The handler returned to find his dog, a seven year old German shepherd, dying.

Sheriff Ralph Froehlich said the dog did what it was supposed to do. It bit the officer because he tried to separate it from the girl- which is a command that can only by given by the handler. 

The officer and the girl were not seriously  injured.

UFO Hotspots in the USA

Norway Police telephones have been flooded with calls of UFO sightings. Many  crafts of various sizes have been seen throughout the north of the country these past few days. Reports of lawn landings and people running for cover are being reported.

Mummy Soap

Researchers in Philadelphia are using CT scans to study a mummy whose body turned to soap.  The mummy is that of a fat woman whom they believe died sometime in the 19th century.

This mummy has been on display for more than 100 years at the Mutter Museum.  The Mutter Museum houses thousands of medical oddities.

Researchers are seriously studying the mummy to learn more about the process that turns some dead people into a soap-like substance know as adipocere. The process of converting dead tissue into soap (adipocere) is known as Saponification.

Chances are greater of this happening to fat people. The fatter the person, the more likely saponification will occur.
