4/10/02: Been a long time... since I last worked this page I started working for DaimlerChrysler doign collections work. I currently cover the Chicago area of delinquent accounts, only accounts over 30 days past due up to repossession. It's quite interesting. For car news-the Si has been the same since last summer-I went to 9 events total last year and did well at a few of them... not sure if I'll be using the Si at any events in 2002 since we may be selling it... We put a lot of money into the Jetta replacing brakes, tires, various engine parts, etc, so we may keep that car, sell the Si and use the overage from the payoff to have a downpayment on a new car. A minivan. Yes, a minivan-it's the wife's current plan, provided we get a decent APR on a loan. The Mazda MPV seems to be the winner for best value and features. We shopped a Mazda Protege5 which is the backup choice.. she wants something different and I'm willing to take her car, so look out for a "For Sale" sign to be added to the car in the near future.

7/11/01: Kaley's page has been updated a bit- pictures of her first time swimming are now available, plus the page itself was re-organized. I have pictures from her first birthday party that just need to get scanned and loaded, so they should be up in the next few days-it's a good thing Angelfire greatly increased my site capacity from 5MB to 50MB a short while back! Otherwise this site would've overgrown itself long ago... Also-the page has finally been registered with some search engines, so traffic may pick up soon-if you are loading a page and you get a little box where a picture should go but didn't load-it's the host's fault-all the pictures work, but sometimes it won't load all of my pictures on the pages the first time. The counter was reset a few months ago since the original died-I estimate about 4000 hits total since I started the page about 2 yrs ago since the last counter quit at about 3500, and I waited a long time to start another. I removed the background picture from the main page where all the links are located to speed up the loading (my main focus), plus it only really looked good to IE users-the background stayed fixed and the text slid across it for Int. Explorer, but it showed up as a tiled bgrd. for Netscape users, so I scrapped it. I will make an attempt to run at an autocross in Harrisburg area this weekend, July 15th, at the same kart track I ran at earlier in the season, weather-permitting. It's been over a month now since the last race I've attended, so if I go I'll add some extra "fun runs" on at the end of the day to get back into practice for the rest of the season.

7/10/01: I've been pretty active running at the autocrosses in Eastern PA so far this seaon compared to previous years-5 races so far this season, with many more planned in the future. The Philly region has been extremely tough with 20+ people in my class (STS) alone at the few events I've attended there. I totally re-vamped my autox page (linked from the main page) to have a race-by-race analysis and available pictures with each event. This way you won't waste time loading pictures you may not be interested in. The 16" DTM's are still on the car-that one even surprised me, since those old Toyo tires ae still on there from 3 yrs ago (and over 50Kmi's!). I got my hands on a free set of used Bridgestone tires a month ago that are mounted on my stock rims-these are autox-only tires due to their stickiness and limited tread left on them, so the 16's have to stay on until late fall. Info on how I got the "race" tires and such are in the autox page, under the June 10, 2001 link.

My daughter Kaley turned 1 yr old July 1st! We held a party here at the house and such for the family and some friends. She has grown soooo much- she started walking at about 10 months, has 4 teeth now, and her hair is really full now-light brown with a redish tint, and full of curls along the sides! She looks so cute. -and she is full of personality. She's grown so much so fast, yet it still amazes us when we look at fairly recent pictures and notice just how much she's changed. Pictures on her page will change periodically with different events.

4/3/01: MAN, it's been a while since I've updated this thing. I took out all the old wording, fixed some links, and added others. The Si is running great-no items broken, and last week I decided to put those DTM 16's on the car for street duty as well as racing, even though the old tires are still on there. It just looks too good to leave them in the garage. No racing has been done since Harrisburg last yr, but the 14th of this month is planned on being the first of this yr. Kaley is doing great-she crawls all over the place, can climb a whole flight of stairs alone, says Dada and Mama now, and is about 27" tall and around 19-20 lbs. She'll be walking really soon-she already walks herself all over when grabbing on to table and chairs. Moyer's car is unchanged, as is Sirena's Jetta, and Kris has added Altezza lights to her Prelude. Bon's Jetta is still the same, but will need new tires soon, most likely Dunlop Sp5000's. Jon has added 17" rims to his Prelude, and is getting a bike rack soon as well. BTW-We got our own house last November. 3 bedrooms, 1 car garage, and basement. We're in a suburban neighborhood VERY close to Philadelphia-the city limits are only about 2 miles or less from my driveway. The best part is that I can now wash my car all the time at home!!! You can see where my priorities are, huh?

9/29/00: A LOT has happened. Kaley is getting huge; she was over 12 lbs. 9oz. a couple of weeks ago, and 23-1/8 in.'s. She's grabbing at things now and is pretty accurate at pulling things to her mouth... she's also learned the fine art of rolling over from her back to her stomach-too bad she doesn't know what to do from there! She looks fantastic. Amazing how a smile from her can brighten your day, even when you're pissed at something. Oh, and the car: No autocrossing done recently, hopefully that'll change soon, especially since I have a DC Sports short-shifter on the car now, as well as an AEM CAI intake, which was just installed last night. The shifter was really notchy at first, but has taken a familiar feel since then, loosening up a lot-almost feels like stock throw to me... the AEM can be loud-not a coplaint, just an intimidation point! I hope to have some pictures of Kaley up soon so I can start a page for her, but we're shopping for a house now, so delays may happen (AGAIN!)...

7/1/00: My Daughter is born! After a very long labor period, Kaley Madison Farrell is brought into the world! My wife started having labor pains on Friday morning at 6 am, and didn't have Kaley until 4pm Saturday.. and stayed up the entire time (couldn't say that for myself!) Bonnie did a great job. Kaley had some troubles breathing at first, but a few days in a special care unit at the hospital took care of that. Kaley was born at 7 lbs. 3oz. and 19-1/2 in.'s long

5/28/00: VTEC rocks. I've got almost 7000 miles on my car already, and have autocrossed it on 2 occasions already, as well as added a set of H&R Sport springs, which have lowered the car about 1.75"F/1.5"R, and have improved the overall look of the car, especially when the DTM's are on the car, which will only be on race days until I get new tires on them. A new page is being put together which will contain various autocrossing pictures, as well as any I get of my car in action, and is already up and running in basic form. I'm changing positions at work, which will give me more spending money, but also eliminate a lot of the available weekends that I have for racing-sux for me.

2/19/00: The CRX is gone. I sold it for $2000 to a local guy that has intentions on using it as a drag car, with a b18c (GS-R) engine plus turbo.. can't wait to see that one at the strip. I picked up my 2000 Civic Si in Electron Blue Pearl (EBP) on the 17th-it had 23 miles on it that day, now has almost 200, even with driving the CRX for 2 days until it sold... can't wait for the break-in period to be over so I can hit that VTEC! But I gotta hold myself back....

1/16/00: It's been a while since I've done much with the page-but lots of things have happened. First-I got a new job back on Nov. 1 with Bell Atlantic Mobile as a Customer Care Rep. I take care of filing and money matters, assist the sales reps and the inventory manager, and take care of just about anyithing needed around the store. It's fun. Next-I found out my wife Bonnie is pregnant, and she's due around the end of June. Lastly-I'm selling the CRX due to the fact that the gov't won't allow you to put a child seat up front-a problem when you have a 2 seater! So I'm taking advantage of the situation to buy a 2000 Civic-I love the look of the hatch, but I think an Si will be the model of choice.. where else can you get that much performance and style for $17,000 new?? So anyone interested should mail me at the address at the bottom of the main page.

9/16/99: Well... I went and changed the intro page. The only bad thing was that I deleted my old intro page during the switch over to make the newer, simpler page the main one. This actually worked out good, though, since the old page was made with a basic web editor, and this time I made it stricly via HTML, no help. I consider this an accomplishment, and the start of bigger and better things for this site. The only thing I lost was the counter-but who cares about that-right? One good things is that it seems that I can do a few things I've learned with HTML that it seems I couldn't do with the basic editor-so sometimes little problems end up being all good in the end-just a little time consuming! Soon to come are a tech section on the 88-91 CRX and hopefully more pictures of the Jetta. More are being taken, but I have to finish my film first...

8/12/99- The wedding went great, as did the honeymoon to Disney World for 8 days- and no rain on the wedding day! So now I'm a taken man. And starting the 16th of August I have to go back to work at my high school. Pre-season sports begin, so I get the fun of working all day during triple practices for football and then also get to work with Jr. High football, too! Ugh. So I'll be busy over the next 3-4 weeks, but I'm going to try using slide film for the pics of the Jetta-try to really get some good pictures for ya. There's some new pics up on Bonnie's Jetta page, and also on Moyer's page of his car lowered and his new Oettinger grill. Check 'em out.

7/29/99- Well, the VW is a great car-no problems whatsoever, and not an annoying thing about it! And the Big Day is coming up-the wedding! It came so fast-10 months ago I proposed, and now it's here. To prepare for this I fixed all the rust on the rex (it's on all wedding to-do lists... get rid of all rust!) by repairing the rear fenders and ridding them of the holes that have grown below the paint. I learned from an auto body supply store owner that Bondo only lasts about 6 months if it has moisture behind it, longer if you're lucky. Well, I got 1 yr out of the old Bondo before cracking. He suggested stuff called Mar-Glass, which is like Bondo, but contains short Fiberglass hairs in it, and can sustain moisture and last many times the timespan of Bondo. I got it, and it goes on the same as Bondo, but sands to a smoother, more solid finish, and after some Glazing Putty you wouldn't know there was ever a hole there to begin with- I recommend it. Pics will be up soon of the pass. side hole and the finished product as I get them scanned.

6/27/99- Big News! Bonnie (my fiancee) traded in the Camaro for a 98 Volkswagon Jetta GLX VR6. It's dark green with a tan leather interior, Bose 8 spkr. stereo, and many more little goodies that come with the VR6 package. She got a good deal on her trade-in, and this car just won our hearts. The more we drive it the more we love it-I like it to the point that I wouldn't mind a GTI VR6 5-spd. of my own as an extra car in the future-but the rex will stay! The Jetta is an automatic, but it still moves along pretty good for a sedan. Pics will be up soon as well as all the specs...

6/22/99- the wiring for the amp has been tucked away, the adjustments have been set on the amp, and the poly-fill stuffing was put into the box. The stuffing actually made a noticeable difference by smoothing out the sound, and eliminating any "hollow" sound the box had at first, and it makes it sound like a little bigger box. I bought two 3" fans from Radio Shack to install into each end of the storage compartment that the amp is held in. One will be set up to push air into the compartment, the other will pull air out from the other end. I have evrything needed, just been lazy and haven't done it yet. I have to say that I am extremely happy with the performance of the box- everything from Jay-Z to Dave Matthews to Metallica all sound great, and I leave my bass setting on the radio at 0, and the EQ is set at 0 for the 2 lowest frequencies, yet the sound is filled in perfectly, with out being overpowering, unless I crank up the volume. A bonus is that the bass isn't "boomy", meaning there's no resonating frequencies to disrupt the sound. I have the amp pulling the lows from the rear speaker output of the radio, so all I do is fade more to the front if I want to cut the bass a little without losing depth from the voices coming from the front speakers-the output from the radio for the rear speakers connects to the rear spkrs., but there is a jumper wire coming off that to go to the amp, and the amp's built in crossover cuts out the highs for the sub- so I still get use of all 4 spkrs, and no sound is cut form the rears. Now all I have to buy is something to cover the box in-maybe dark blue speakerbox carpet, maybe something form the fabric store, and then I just have to anchor the box down in a way that can be removed quick for making room for groceries and such. I think I may take some pics of the box and sub set-up, and just make a page out of it... sometime soon.

6/6/99- My dad and I built the sub box this weekend- everything went perfect. He has a lot of woodworking supplies, so it went quick and easy. I built the 1.2 cu.ft. sealed enclosure that I planned. I just need the poly-fill stuffing that I'll buy tomorrow that was recommended by JBL for the 12" sub that's going into the box, as well as carpeting for it, but that will wait... It's all hooked up and sounds pretty damn good! I just have to play with the gain adjustment and the crossover freq. on the amp to get it all set, then work on my plan for better cooling of the amp, since its not attached to the box. I wired the amp and box in a hurry while at a party, and didn't get things back together in the storage area of the car, so that'll have to be done tomorrow too. It's all in place (for the most part), just not tucked in or screwed yet... no biggie, it won't change the sound!

5/26/99- I have the amp for my sub- an Infinity Kappa 102a. 100x2 RMS, or 300x1. I'll be using the 300x1 for one 12, and if I ever go with both 12's in my car I can switch to the 100x2, and have 150 watt peak per channel. It's a sweet looking amp, and very high quality! I already started wiring it up, and will have everything ready for when the box is built for the 12, so I can hook it up right away!

5/19/99- Got the pics back from part of the VT meet and from Carlisle- I will add some in where appropriate as I have the time. The main image on the front page was finally changed for the first time- There's also new pics of Kris's Prelude with her new 17" rims

5/17/99: I took the rolls of film from the VT meet and the Carlisle show to the store to be developed, should be ready the next day, but I can't pick them up that day, so the scanning will have to wait until the 19th.. so look out for more pictures and new pages!

5/16/99: Went to the Carlise, PA import show- saw some nice rexes, especially one painted in the Integra blue-purple color that was available in the past year or so.(pics coming soon) If I ever re-paint the car, it'll be that color!

That's all for now, but there will be more to come!
