Scouting Report - Kris Lake is a speedy cornerback who also plays a great special teams roll as a kick returner. Has, as you can see, blazing speed and is a threat to go all the way at any time. Although his main position has been in the defensive secondary, we suspect that with all this speed, and also having a distinct size advantage, there may be some recruiters that will look at him as a wide receiver in college. He does love to hit and had 60 tackles this past season and 9 deflected passes in tight coverage. His 6 interceptions were another major plus, but the excitement he created on kickoff and punt returns was something to see. He racked up 630 yards in kickoff and punt returns. Excellent prospect!

Scouting Report - Bryan was another reason that Shrewsbury had such a great season in '99. A varsity starter since his freshman year he registered 66 tackles and five interceptions from his cornerback position. He also was responsible for a number of knock downs as he covered the opposition like a blanket in a defensive secondary. Bryan is a real hitter who loves the contact. As a wide receiver in limited action, he had three receptions and two touchdowns. He is able to excel in this game by using his great speed (4.6 in the forty), excellent strength and his great athleticism.
