The Yorkshire Terrier is a well balanced long-coated toy terrier, readily identified by it's straight-flowing silky body coat of bright shiny lustrous steel blue and clear-shaded golden tan. The hair is glossy, silky and fine in texture. The dog should not exceed 7 pounds in weight. The show dog coat draws the eye, but pets rarely achieve this coat due to the amount of time spent on grooming.
