Ever want to be a newsie? Or just pretend to be someone yer not? Heres your chance. What it a Newsies RPG? RPG stands for Role Playing game. What you do is pick a character from Newsies and act as if you are him. You can also make up characters. RPG is sort of like writing mini-fanfiction that other people add on to. All of this is done through e-mail. If you don't want to be swamped with email messages or don't have e-mail but want to join, you can start up a new account for free at Hotmail Free Email Services or GurlMail free Pages and Email.Below are the rules, taken characters, available characters, and made up characters. Also if all official characters are gone or you only want to make up a character you can still join with made up characters. Be prepared for alot of mail!
1. There is only ONE official character to each member. You can make as many characters up as you want (no limit!)
2. only control your characters. To control someone else’s you must have permission. Everyone can control available characters until they are chosen, but PLEASE limit their use!! Don't get them very involved!
3. Talk in 3rd person (he, she, they, etc.) or else its very confusing.
4. You can only be related or dating someone else’s characters with permission. Also don't kill people (well if the owner dosent care about made up peeps its ok...) available.
5. No swearing (you can use shit, damn, crap...just nothing real bad. if you do use *'s liek f**k) or bad mouthing owners.
6. You must email the list, with the subject "NEW" or "CHARACTORS" something like that, whenever a new made up is made, or one from the movie is taken/simi-taken.
Other than that everything’s ok. I can make rules whenever I want. If I make a new one I'll be sure to post it on the site and in an Email.
If you want two movie characters this is how you do it! This is where people have threads with these guys, but they are still up for grabs. Those people just have to give them up once they are taken by someone else as their main person. All people must be willing to share the simi-taken people! For example I'm Mush for sure but want to be Specs as well. I can be Specs if he's not taken on the condition that if someone wants to be him as there first pick i stop all threads and give him up compleatly.
