BLACK ORCHID

The first (and so far only) commercial Black Orchid event was held at the Liar's Club in Tampa on September 13, 2003. This event featured Loungecore music from artists ranging from Nicola Conte to Arthur Lyman to Dino and Sinatra played by Black Orchid's Sobek and two sets from local Surf/Lounge act The Vodkanauts. VIPs enjoyed Mai Tai shots made with Black Orchid's own homemade flavor syrups.

Unfortunately, the Liar's Club is no more and so our hopes of establishing a regular Lounge/Exotica presence there have been dashed. But in the meanwhile, we continue to embrace the Aloha spirit and all things Swank, and we share with you our collection of exotic food and drink recipes below.
