Air Srpska, the flag-carrier of the Republic of Srpska, took off on January 29, 1999, with a flight from Banja Luka to Belgrade. This flight inaugurated the scheduled operations of Air Srpska. The network of routes currently includes flights from Banja Luka to Zürich, Switzerland (ZRH).

The fleet of Air Srpska is presently one ATR72-202 leased from JAT Yugoslav Airlines, and Air Srpska holds options to lease two further ATR72s and 2 DC-9-32s from JAT.

The network is to be expanded in the near future to include destinations in Germany and France and again to Belgrade.
