~One of the biggest PPV’s of the year got underway at the Richmond Colliseum. It started out showing highlights of various feuds between the KOTR participants. KORN make a special guest appearance to sing the national anthem. Paco, Miller, and Mercer went on to talk about some of the matches that were going to take place and took special interest in the World Title Ambulance match between Rage and Ace. The KOTR matches soon got underway with the first match.
Steve Stryker vs. Dean
~The match started out pretty even with both Dean and Styker getting their respectable hits in. Stryker attemps to make the first pin by executing a side slam on Dean, but Dean makes a quick kick out. Dean later drops a devastating leg drop on Styrker and goes for the pin but manages only to get a 2 count. Stryker later executes a massive clothesline that takes Dean off his feet followed up closely by a leg drop and then the pin. Dean kicks out after 2. Styker then manages to get a bear hug on Dean trying to make him submit. The ref goes up and grabs the arm and drops it and appears that dean has given up but suddenly comes back. At the closing of the match, Styker sends Dean against the ropes trying to end it, but misses a clothesline which give Dean the chance to execute a Spear. Dean finally sends Stryker against the ropes and performs his finisher, The Razorback and gets the 3 count. Dean advances in the tournament.
”Showtime” Mike Hall vs Punisher: Television Tile on the line
Punisher basically dominated this match as he took on Mike Hall for the fourth time. Punisher starts out with the advantage, but SMH bounces back with the Showtime DDT and then goes for the pin, but only gets the 2 count. Later on, Punisher brings a table into the ring and attemps to send SMH through it, but SMH counters and Punisher goes down. SMH attemps his finisher The Grande Finale on top of the table but Punisher fights it off. Punisher then sends SMH through the table with the Pun-bomb and then puts SMH in his submission, The PainKiller. SMH taps out and Punisher gets the win.
Tommy “Extreme” Rocker vs. Kid Ka$h
This match started out pretty even. The advantage soon bounces to Rocker and he gets a neckbreaker on Kash and goes for the pin, but only gets a 2 count. Kid Kash later gives Rocker a double axe handle smash as Rocker gets up. Kash goes for the pin and almost gets the win, but Rocker kicks out. Kash still has the advantage as Rocker is down and Kash goes for a moonsault and lands is perfectly. He once again goes for the pin, but Rocker kicks out once again. The advange then goes to Rocker who does a series of moves and then goes for a DVD, but Kash counters with a DDT. Kash then goes for his finisher the Pay Off and gets the win over Rocker to advance.

This was an intense match, as it took place in a boiler room. Weapons were definaltey used in this match. Hunter tries using a lead pipe but can’t seem to hit Handy Man. Handy man later cracks a broom over Hunter’s back sending Hunter to the ground. The fight continues back and forth and finally goes to a dumpster where Handy Man is thrown in. Hunter dives inside on top of Handy and goes for the pin but only gets a 2 count. A ladder later comes into the picture and Handy uses it to his advantage. Handy executes his finisher, The Handy Drop, off the ladder and gets the pin. He excapes the boiler room to pick up the win.
The next match involved Dean and Punisher in the semi-final round of KOTR. This was an intense match and the battle went back and forth throughout the whole match. Punisher manages to get a submission hold on Dean but is forced to break the hold. Later in the match, Punisher has his submission hold on and it appears as if Dean is about to tap out when Rage comes running to ringside and nails Punisher between the eyes. The ref was down at this time. This gives Dean the chance to put Punisher in the Razorback and pick up the win.
This match saw Kid Kash and Handy Man battle it out. This match consisted of some great moves, with Handy Man having the advantage most of the way through the match. At one point, Kash almost became the winner after executing his patented moonsault, but Handy was able to kick out at the last second. At another point Kash attemps his finisher, the Pay Off, but Handy Man counters. Handy then delivers the Handy Drop and picks up another win to advance to the final round to meet Dean.
This was part one of a two-part main event. After Ace had destroyed other Fear Factor members, Rage and Mobley were the only ones left. This match was full of intense action as both competiors gave it all they had. The match was fought both inside and outside the ring. After trading moves back and forth, Ace finally got the advantage and execute the Ace High on Rage, followed by the Rollercoaster. Ace goes for the pin and gets the 3 count. This is an ambulance match, therefore you can't win with just a pin, so Ace takes Rage and tries to throw him in the back of the ambulance but can't get the job done. The match continues and Rage finally picks up and advantage and executes his finisher, The Ragin' Fury through a table. He too pins Ace and gets the 3 count. The action really picked up as Rage throws Ace into the back of the ambulance, but forgets to close the door. Ace takes advantage and delivers another Rollercoaster and throws Rage inside the ambulance and closes the door for the win. Ace remains ICWF World Champ. Punisher is then seen hopping into the ambulance and driving off with Rage in the back.
The final match of the King of the Ring was a great one as both Handy Man and Dean had worked hard to make it to the end. This match was full of action as both men fought for the crown. Both Dean and Handy Man had many close near falls. Dean grabs the advantage late in the match and applies the Figure Four on Handy Man trying to get him to submit. It looks as if Handy will submit but he holds on and reverses the hold and puts the pain on Dean. Dean later execute the Razorback on Handy Man as Handy bounces off the ropes. Everyone thought the match was over as Dean made the pin but to everyones surprise Handy kicked out. Handy Man somehow gains enough strenght to go for his finisher and he performs it and goes for the pin, but Dean too kicks out to everyone's surprise. Dean tries desperately to get the win, but in the final seconds of the match, Handy puts Dean in an Olympic Slam to get the win and become the 2000 King of the Ring. A hard fought match for both contenders.
