Broadway Cafe:
This list is for the
discussion of all aspects of
theatre..if you are a
performer,technician,student,writer,director,
or
simply a devoted fan, this
list is for you. This list
was only established about a
month ago, so join us
now. :-)
Falcons In The Dive:
This list is an RPG dedicated
to the "gothic musical".
Characters from different
musicals set in the 1800's
interact with one
another...this has quite a number of
characters,but as there are
so many to choose from,
there are still plenty open.
:-)
Everything ALW:
This list is an RPG for all
of the musicals of Andrew
Lloyd Webber. The list has
slowed down recently, so
we're looking for new
characters to bring it back to
life. We're a bit heavy on
"Cats" at the moment,but we
need all sorts of
characters...
One Day More:
This list is an RPG similar
to "Falcons", only the
characters can be from any
musical ever created..the
possibilities are endless.
The RPG is set during the
French Revolution..see if
your character can survive
the bloodshed! This list is
one of our newest, but
already growing
rapidly...join today. :-)
Thanks muchly, and apologies to those of you who get this more than once...I am EVERYWHERE! *lol*
Ruthie :-)
NEW YORK (Variety) - ``Annie,'' the ABC TV movie that will likely run in November sweeps, has imminent deals with a plethora of Broadway actresses to star.
Tony winners Audra McDonald (``Ragtime,'') and Alan Cumming (``Cabaret'') are being courted to team with Kristin Chenoweth (currently Tony nominated for ``You're A Good Man Charlie Brown'') and Victor Garber (``Art'') in the TV musical.
If deals are signed, Cumming will play the part of Rooster Hannigan; McDonald will portray Grace Farrell; and Chenoweth will play Lilly. Daddy Warbucks will be played by Garber. Chenoweth will take a six-week leave of absence from the ``Charlie Brown'' musical, itself nominated for best revival this season.
The ``Annie'' special already has Academy Award winner Kathy Bates starring as Miss Hannigan and 11-year-old Alicia Morton, who is starring as young Cossette in ``Les Miserables'' on Broadway, as its Annie.
