Mar. 15, 2000 --I discovered a voting booth for the best
cd (presumably of 2000, but whatever) at www.freevote.com/booth/bestcd2000
. Naturally, I added Anatedaephobia's future cd (btw, still looking for
your name is probably not going to be the name) and gave it a reasonable
amount of votes (over 5,000 :) and boosted it quickly to the 14th best
cd! If everybody could please vote for as long as you can, I found a method
of voting that makes it a lot more effective. Vote once the normal way
and get to that screen that says: Sucess, your vote has been counted...
Press your browser's refresh button and note the message box that appears.
This means it counted it as another vote. Press enter to get rid of the
message box and refresh the page again. You can hold down enter to get
through the message boxes more quickly and press refresh as quickly as
you can. Enjoy helping us out! - Been
Mar. 6 2000 --We're taking a couple weeks off from band
practise, due to exams (which I should be studying for right now) and vacation
(woo-hoo). I'm updating the site in hope that we'll get more visators.
Check out the other pics. on the BB&N website if you want to know what
our school is like. - Been
Feb. 5, 2000 --Our performance went incredibly well;
the croud was really into it and we had lots of fun. We played Chloe's
new song, Chloe's old song, Get Back and as an encore, an unnamed, unrehearsed,
improv song that sounded awesome. I'll put the pics up as soon as I can
get my computer to read the files. Mr. Osbourne taped the entire performance
though. Only minor injuries occured: Chloe "lost her voice" a bit before
the show, Boris was almost hit by a truck backing up (his reaction was
"it's ok, we're the band"), Been slammed his head against the window and
has a big bump there now and joey whined in the car about... nevermind.
Joey was wearing ski goggles, Boris was wearing a stocking over his head,
Chloe was wearing a bright blue tube top and Been was wearing shoulder-pads,
a bathrobe and a wig. We almost had to play to start the dance because
the DJ didn't show up, but Mr. Dotoli played cds for the whole time we
weren't playing. Sputnik almost had a surprise performance, but they didn't.
Practising was rushed because it took a long time to get pizza from Armandos.
The singing wasn't heard very well because we didn't have the DJ's mike
and we had to use one with less volume. Send your reactions to our performance
to Ben_schriesheim@bbns.org.
