Chapter 2

We hitched a ride with Brian and Jesse that night. They had been going out for three months, almost. they were always nibbling on each other. Sometimes it made me physically ill.

"So, where exactly are we going?" Nick asked.

"Well, I'm not sure. Probably Cheek to Cheek or, maybe, Jester's." Brian answered.

Linda and Kevin were following in his Jeep. We ended up going to Cheek to Cheek. Even though Nick was twenty-one, and old enough to drink, he didn't. I was only eighteen so I couldn't drink.

The music was loud and vibrated the whole place. The dance floor was practically overflowing, but I made my way through. A few minutes later Jesse and Linda joined me and subsequently everyone else.

About midnight, Nick and I skipped out and took a taxi over top my cousin Nicole's apartment. Nikki wasn't there but I had a key and she said I could come over any time I wanted. Nick and I did one of our favorite things: vegging out in front of the tv. Nikki had an absolutely amazing collection of movies. At two thirty Brian and Jesse came and oicked us up.

At this point i hadn't been home in almost two days. I decided to go home and recieve the lecture of a lifetime.
