So you've stumbled across A'tuin's World, eh?
You're probably already wondering about the site history and why I've
decided to set it up. Well, probably not, but here I go
anyway.
The site was first uploaded in September 99 with a fairly limited content but with the promise that the site was very knew and so would be constanlty updated. Like all promises of this nature on the net, it was not kept very well, if at all (Sorry to anyone who bothered to check back). But now, however, I've finally gotten around to transferring evrything from my head direct to your computer screen. I'd like to keep updating it now on a regular basis and already have a few feature ideas floating around. But of course this all depends on whether or not the site is in anyway successful. Most fansites(and not just discworld ones) are lucky to get 5 or 6 hits a month. But don't worry, I'm not going to go prattling on about how "Uncle Sam Needs You!!" or anything similarly pathetic.
I'm not exactly a html genious so for the time being, at least, the site will remain pretty simple in design. Which I think is a good thing - there's nothing worse than having to wait for 10 minutes to download some flashy sidebar.
And why did I decide to set up the site in the first place? Because I thought it would be fun. And it was. Now off you go and enjoy yourself.
