"Witches are not by their nature gregarious, and they certainly don't have leaders.
Granny Weatherwax was the most highly-regarded of the leaders they didn't have.
But even she found that meddling in royal politics was a lot more difficult than certain playwrights would have you believe ..."
Granny Weatherwax returns but this time she's brought some friends - Nanny Ogg and Magrat. "Wyrd Sisters" is one big parody of Shakespeare's MacBeth from start to finish, but don't be put off if you're not a big Shakespeare fan. I've never read MacBeth but still loved Wyrd Sisiters. The witches make a great threesome. This is largely because they're all completely different. The plot as a whole is superb (although I suppose that's because he copied Shakespeare) but I'm still a bit confused about what Granny and Nanny were talking about at the end. I get the basic idea but some of the smaller details given seem to contradict each other. Apart from that though, read it.
