The Basic Types Involved in a Boyband
Ever wonder why these damn boybands are so confusing? It's because they're all the same. They all have the same basic types:

1. The Heartthrob (i.e. Jordan from NKOTB, Brian from BSB or JC from 'N Sync): The guy who usually has his hand held out in the magazines. He usually trades solos with the Dewey-Eyed Youngster. Usually, the one most girls go after.

2. The Dewey Eyed Youngster (i.e. Joey from NKOTB, Nick in BSB or Justin in 'N Sync): He's the youngest member of the group and trades off solos with the Heartthrob. Even though most Dewey Eyed Youngsters are now approaching 20, they still sound like they're in the middle of adolescence.

3. The Rebel (i.e. Donnie from NKOTB, AJ in BSB or Joey in 'N Sync): They usually have facial hair, tattoos, lots of jewelry and piercings, and a bit of a rep, even though they're about as bad as Uncle Jesse from Full House. They do some soloing, but not as much as the Heartthrob or the Dewey-Eyed Youngster.

4. The Shy One (i.e. Danny from NKOTB, Howie in BSB or Lance in 'N Sync): Very laid back, don't talk much. The only one in the group with less solos is the Reassuring Older Brother.

5. The Reassuring Older Brother (i.e. Jonathan from NKOTB, Kevin in BSB or Chris in 'N Sync): This is the one that usually stays away from solos (although they do step in front occaisionally), and attention in general. Is usually only there as a vain attempt to keep fans as they get older.

AGE DIFFERENCES
Currently, boybands have age differences ranging from 8 years to 19 years.
*
