Science "ED"ventures

 
Funding from the Toshiba Foundation provided materials to develop science centers.  Centers provide hands-on activities which target district standards.  Students are able to rotate through a technology center which provides structured activities which begin at the Science Surfing Web site.
Students constructed Mars Habitats which were displayed during Space Day at Towne West Mall.
Hands-on activities and cooperative group activities are stress throughout the year.

 
 
Students participate in several environmental education initiatives and service learning initiatives.  Students attend a yearly field trip to the Great Plains Nature Center and complete Nature Surveys using supplies funded by the Wolf Creek Grants for Excellence.

Students display Mars City Alpha Structures at Town West for National Space Day Celebration.
