Funding from the Toshiba Foundation
provided materials to develop science centers. Centers provide hands-on
activities which target district standards. Students are able to
rotate through a technology center which provides structured activities
which begin at the Science Surfing Web site.

Students constructed Mars Habitats
which were displayed during Space Day at Towne West Mall.

Hands-on activities and cooperative
group activities are stress throughout the year.

Students participate
in several environmental education initiatives and service learning initiatives.
Students attend a yearly field trip to the Great Plains Nature Center and
complete Nature Surveys using supplies funded by the Wolf Creek Grants
for Excellence. |
