This is an unofficial
biography, so please don't get mad at me if some of the information
is incorrect!
Kevin Joseph Zegers was born in St. Mary's Ontario, on September 19 1984, so that makes
him a virgo. His parents are Jim and Mary-Ellen Zegers. Kevin is one of three children. He has an older sister Krista (16) and a
younger sister Katie (13).
Kevin began acting at the age of 6, when he got the role in a
cheerios commercial, and he has been doing it ever since. I have heard he modeled before acting.
Kevin has been tagged as the next Leonardo DiCaprio, he has been decribed as a heart throb waiting to happen
and i'm sure he has a very promising acting career ahead of him! Kevin does think that it is flattering
but he is not about to say "Oh yeah, I guess I do remind myself of Leonardo DiCaprio."
Kevin does not have a pooch at the moment but if he did have one he says it would be a golden retriever
because of their reputation for being friendly and intelligent. Kevin has had many jack russell terriers
but because of his career he could not take care of a dog.
Kevin has already had 4 or 5 on screen kisses, but he would love to play the romantic lead
with Drew Barrymore, "Even though she is a little old for me."
When Kevin was a child he used to travel 6 times a week for auditions, to Toronto from Woodstock, Ontario.
Kevin does not have a girlfriend (so i am told) at the moment. He thinks it would be unfair to her
because he has no free time. He has had a girlfriend, and his heart was broken, he says "It is one of those kind of
things that you could make a movie out of." I think they broke up because she moved away.
If kevin's acting career doesn't work out the way he would like it to he says he would like to be a sports doctor
or a trainer (so he would be helping the athletes if they get hurt.
Kevin doesn't have a favorite role, he likes them all for different reasons.
Kevin handles homesickness by calling his sisters every day before they go to school and when they get home, and his parents too.
