Paul Bretz, D. Min. L.C.S.W. is a Pastoral Counselor and Clinical Social Worker. He has worked extensively in community mental health, private practice and church related counseling centers. Dr. Bretz has coordinated a variety of grief support and recovery groups, and counseled with numerous clinically depressed and suicidal individuals for more than 15 years. He currently serves as the CoPastor of the Church of the Eternal Hills in Grand County, Colorado. His current counseling practice is through the Eternal Hills Counseling Center in Granby and Fraser, Colorado.
Dr. Bretz combines his experience as an ordained Presbyterian minister and his clinical background as a social worker together for this workshop.
Rev. Bretz holds a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Sociology from Wheaton College.

Patricia lloyd is a Postvention Coordinator, Suicide Education and Support Services of Weld County, Colorado. She is a trainer for the Adolescent Suicide Awareness Program in Weld County, training teachers, school counselors, parents and students to recognize the warning signs of suicide in adolescents. Ms Lloyd is a certified ASIST trainer providing suicide prevention training throughout Northern Colorado.
Ms Lloyd is a double survivor of suicides by her son and five days later by son's girlfriend. This was particularly devastating and these two events led her to her current passions of preventing adolescent suicide and working with those left behind, the survivors.
