"Alex! You have a package!" Jason screamed at his older sister.
Alex walked into the kitchen, "What is it?"
"I dunno. It's addressed to you, from some Tampa."
Alex's head jerked at the last statement and she picked up the package. It didn't have a return address, she tore open the side and pulled a 12 by 7 poster out along with some papers. She looked at the papers. One paper said "Here's your picture." and the other said " write me a letter." and it had an address. Alex flipped over the poster and just stared at it. It was a picture of a white unicorn with a rainbow colored mane and tale drinking from a spring, and had a colorful butterfly perched on its back, and the background looked like an enchanted forest. Alex looked at it for a minute thinking that Nick hadn't really drawn this when she saw his name signed on the right lower corner.
Jason looked over her shoulder, "Cool picture."
"Yeah, Alex said still looking at the beautiful picture that was drawn for her.
"Where are you gonna put it?" Jason asked
"I dunno." With that Alex picked up the package and the papers and went upstairs. After looking around her room she decided to hang it on her wall above her dresser. She sat there for a minute before picking up the piece of paper and writing Nick a short letter.
Nick-
I really don't know what to say, but maybe I'll think of something as I write. I didn't know what you meant when you said you would draw me a picture, but it's beautiful. I already hung it up in my room, it gives a nice little touch. I don't know what is happening, Nick, I've never felt this way before and I have no idea what to do. It's not like this is a normal relationship. For one we don't even live in the same town, and then on top of that you have your music. I don't know why I am telling you this. I have no idea what we are going to do. But, if it's meant to be it will be, if not we've made some memories.

Alex looked at the letter, she had no idea why she was sending it, but she got a envelope out addressed it and went down stairs to put it in the mailbox. She went back up to her room and looked at the poster, she noticed some writing in the water and looked closer. It was writing! She went down the hall to Jason's room, "Can I borrow your magnifying glass?"
"Yeah, it's on my desk."
Alex grabbed the glass and ran back down the hall. She ran the glass over the water and about fainted, it said.
"I was in the dark until I met you, I've never felt this way about anyone and I don't know what to do. My head is spinning, and I can't tell you how I feel. The words won't come, but I know what we have is real. You are the angel in my dream, that I have never been able to see, but now you are a part of my life, This almost seems like a fantasy."
Alex read the words out loud and then about passed out, "this can't be happening." Just then the phone rang and she jumped out of her skin, "Hello?"
"hey beautiful."
"Um, hey, who is this?" She asked still looking at the poster
"It's Nick."
"Oh, Hi! I just got your package."
"Really, did you open it yet?"
"Yeah, I even hung the poster up."
"So, you liked it?"
"It's really pretty."
"I'm glad you think so. About Monday, you can still go right?"
"Yeah, I got my work from school and stuff so I can, if you still want me to."
"Of course, I'll pick you up at 6:45."
"In the morning?!?"
Nick laughed, "yeah, is that alright? We have to be there by 7."
"I guess, for you, I'll be up and ready by 6:45."
"Okay. I want to talk to you, but I'm on my cell phone, so can I call you back tonight?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Oh and Alex?"
"Yeah?"
"Did you find anything interesting?"
"Yeah."
"You did?!?" Nick asked almost shocked. I wrote that so small!! I can't believe she saw it! I was going to wait and tell her about that! He thought to himself
"I found something interesting, and you have something that will be in your mailbox in a couple of days. You better go."
"Okay, I'll call you tonight."
"Bye Nicky."
"Bye Alexis"
