"What do you think he'll do?" A.J. asked
"Do? What can he do?"
"Nick is the King of pranks, I would watch your back if I were you, and don't take any of his gum."
"Gum? why not?"
"Because it tastes like fish."
Alex looked at A.J., "Are you kidding?"
A.J. shook his head.
"Well, what Nick doesn't know is that I'm not that bad at fooling people either." with that Alex walked in her room to plan her strategy, there was no way Nick would know what hit him.

An hour or so later their was a knock on Alex's door, she was right in the middle of a good movie on HBO, but got up and answered it only to find Aaron and Jason standing in the doorway.
"Where leaving now to go to the arena, are you going or coming later?" Aaron asked
"I guess, I will go. It's not like there is a lot of stuff to do here." Alex grabbed her stuff and followed Aaron and her brother out the door. They went downstairs and out the back where 2 big black suburbans waited to take them to the arena. Nick was standing next to the second on talking to Brian and didn't even acknowledge Alex. Aaron and Jason climbed in to the first suburban, shrugging Nick's attitude off followed them. She didn't come on this trip to be a babysitter and if that is all she was going to be she would just go home. Alex looked out the window as Aaron and Jason were talking about some video game when someone got climbed in and sat in the set beside her. Alex turned to find Nick watching her. She didn't know what he was thinking, and didn't know what to say. Just then A.J. opened the door, "Any room in here?" Before anyone could answer A.J. climbed in over Nick and Alex and made himself comfortable.
"It's nice that you could join us A.J." Alex said scooting over towards Nick.
"It's my pleasure." A.J. said knowing he was being teased
Nick was trying to get comfortable and put his arm on the back of the seat behind Alex, she looked up at him wondering why he was acting strange.
"Do you mind?" Nick asked
Alex didn't know what to say, she just shook her head and looked down. A.J. started to talk to her and they had a nice conversation on the way to the arena, but Nick just sat their like a stiff bored not saying a single word.

They had been their for 2 hours, the guys had done their sound check, ran thru the big routines a few times, met some of their fans backstage, and now where in their dressing room getting into their cloths for the opening act. Alex was milling around watching the frenzy. She watched from the side of the stage as Aaron performed and gave him a high five as he came running off. Another act that Alex had never heard of performed after and then the lights went out. The music to Larger Than Life started and then the boys appeared. The show went great, and Alex was still amazed at how well the guys performed with each other.

they were in the suburbans going back to the hotel, it was late and everyone was asleep except Alex, Nick, and the driver of course. He still wasn't speaking to her and she had no idea what she had done or what was wrong. She decided to just let him have his space. Alex looked up to find him watching her, she didn't look away but held his gaze for several seconds. Nick put his arm around her and pulled her closer, without anything being spoken Alex knew that he wasn't mad at her, but she still didn't know what was wrong. She laid her head down on his shoulder and sighed.
