Alex looked around for her cell phone. If she was being followed she didn't want to go home.
"Okay, who do you call when you are being followed?!?" she yelled. "Nick, I'll call Nick."
She fumbled with the phone and finally got the call to go thru. it rang 5 times before she heard Brian, "Hello?"
"Brian? This is Alex...it Nick there?"
"Ah no, actually he just ran to get something. I can have him call you back if ya want."
Alex panicked, she didn't know what to do. She looked in the rear view mirror, her stalker was still following her. Brian heard the tone in her voice, "Alex are you okay?
"No, I'm not. Brian I'm being followed by a guy that I saw in Europe several times."
Brian knew she wasn't joking, "Are you sure?"
"positive. I don't know where to go...I can't go home.."
"Are you anywhere near this side of town?"
"Yeah, I'm about 5 minutes from your house."
"Okay, meet me at that big gas station. You know the one I'm talking about?"
"Yeah, I think so."
"Okay, I will see you in a second." Brian hung up and headed out the door running right into Nick "C'mon man, Alex's in trouble." Nick followed Brian back to his truck, "Drive, I'll explain."

Alex pulled into the gas station, but didn't see Brian. She checked her rearview mirror, she didn't see the man anywhere around. Alex parked and decided to go inside. She got put of her car and was about to lock her door when a strong arm grabbed her, "Hello Alexis."
Alex froze as she felt the end of a gun in the middle of her back, "What do you want?" Amazingly her voice sounded calm.
"I wanted you, but that boyfriend of yours just couldn't get the message...maybe he will now."

Brian dialed 911 on his cell phone.
"What are you doing?" Nick asked
"This is serious Nick. Alex wasn't joking, she had seen the guy more than once in Europe."
Nick listened as Brian talked to the 911 operator, he had a sinking feeling in his stomach.

The man was taking Alex back behind the building. She had no idea what he was planning to do to her, but she was sure that she wasn't going to be alive at the end. WHERE IS BRIAN?!? Her brain screamed
"It was to bad your boyfriend didn't get the hint, we would have been so good together Alex."
Alex tried to swallow the lump in her throat as he pushed her behind the dumpster. Alex's mind was running at full speed. Then she had a thought, she curled up her fist and swung with everything she had. She knocked the guy off his feet and ran full force.

Nick pulled up into the gas station. He saw Alex's car, but no Alex. They looked around for a minute before Brian said he would go check inside. Nick walked over to her car and tried the handle, it was unlocked-Alex never left her car unlocked. Nick's mind began to run and he turned around just in time to see Alex run from behind the building. She was running blindly and then Nick heard someone yell her name. He heard a shot and watched in horror as Alex collapsed and a pool of dark liquid slowly formed around her.

Alex ran and then heard the man call after her...then she felt a sharp pain and her world went black.

Brian came running out of the gas station, he had witnessed the whole thing. He watched as Nick ran over to Alex and fell down beside her. A police vehicle pulled into the parking lot and the officer got out, Brian started yelling at him. Brian saw the guy running back to his car, but it was to late, he was speeding out of the parking lot. The officer called for back up and an ambulance and went after the speeding car.

Nick pulled Alex into his arms and tied to stop the bleeding. He was in shock and didn't even know what he was doing, "C'mon Alex, open your eyes. C'mon sweetie you can't do this to me."
