"Are you hungry?" Nick asked
"No."
"Well, I am."
Alex laughed, "Guys are born hungry, stay hungry and die hungry."
"Well, I know one thing about you already."
"And what's that?
"You're very smart."
Alex smiled as Nick ordered a medium pizza and 2 cokes.
"Oh don't worry, It's on me." Nick said
"If you insist."
They went over and sat at a corner booth.
"Well, I do have one question." Nick said as they sat down.
"What's that?" Alex asked a little curious
"What’s your name?"
Alex, Alex Paine.
"Alex is short for..?"
"Alexis."
"That's a pretty name."
"Thank you. Can I be honest with you?"
"Yes, please do."
"Well, I don't know anything really about the Backstreet Boys. I don't really even listen to your music. I even had to ask my friend what your name was."
Nick looked at her for a minute, "Carter, Nick Carter."
"Well, that's better. At least we know each other's names."
"So, what kind of music do you listen to?" Nick asked
"Stuff like Limp Bizkit, Korn, Green Day, Kid Rock, you know stuff like that."
"Really? I like that stuff too."
"Well, there’s one thing we have in common."
"Who knows maybe there’s more."
they continued to talk, even after the pizza arrived and Nick started to chow down. They talked for almost 2 hours before Alex realized what time it was. She told him she had to go. They were both a little sorry, but she gave him her number and he promised to call her later that night............
