According to the dictionary the definition of a vampire is the reanimated body of a dead person believed to come from the grave at night and suck the blood of persons asleep. One who lives by preying on others. The definition of romance on the other hand is an emotional attraction or aura belonging to an adventure, a heroic era, etc. They don’t sound like they go together very well, do they?
On the other hand, for those of you who watched Buffy from Season One to Season Three you were able to watch the meeting of Buffy and Angel, the beginning of feelings between the two which escalated into one of the most heart wrenching love affairs on tv today. The goodbye scene in this past season when Buffy did a cross over to the Angel series was heart breaking in itself. This is what I have been fascinated with ever since Season One. Not only was Buffy a vampire slayer but with Angel being a vampire, odds were that they would never become a couple.
