What the service includes
Use of background of choice and setup options including fences and footing. Examples coming in December.
Free use of props such as jumps, halters and leads, handlers or riders, and tack.
Film purchase, developing, and inspecting- customers can provide own film for discount.
Time and effort to take the photos in a reasonable time frame, without sacrificing quality.
Mistakes made by me, film, camera, or developer are corrected free of charge.
Extra options and discounts
Customers may provide their own tack, at their own risk. I reserve the right to use my tack if it is more appropriate.
Customers may provide their own film, and there will be a slight discount off the price. I suggest Kodak, but will use any 35mm regular film, multipurpose.
If models need touchups, they will be done at a minimal price. For more information, see touchup page.
Headstudy shots aren't extra, but one per horse increases shot count, so could require more film.
Special requests for elaborate setups or tack will be done with minimal charges according to difficulty.
Pricing guidelines
Price of film, developing, and applicable taxes. Film I use is Max 400, 24 exposure Kodak rolls. I charge $3/roll. Developing has risen to $8 per 24 exposure roll- double prints are default (please LMK if you want singles).
Service fee- approximately 10-20% of other chanrges.
Shipping, handling and insurance fees- figured using your costs, plus increase in insurance for fees and film in case of loss or damage. $5 to send developed photos separately from horses. Minimum s/h/i fee is $5.
TERMS: Money Orders or checks accepted- NO CREDIT CARDS and NO COD's. Cash accepted at your own risk. US Funds only- exchange fees for non US cash is 10%. Money Orders only for amounts over $50. Checks held two weeks, MO shipped within 48 hours. NSF charge is $15, and all items/services will be held until paid in full. Payment expected before services rendered. Refunds and returns must be verified before two weeks since shipment, or will not be granted. No refunds on s/h/i. No refunds on film, processing, taxes. I will not be held liable for damage done in shipment, or for lost articles, if insurance is not requested. No minors without written parental consent with signature please!
