About The Author

I have always loved all types of animals, especially large dogs. Always wanting a Mastiff, we finally found one to be part of our family in 1990. That was our Beau, he quickly became a big part of our life. Our breeder encouraged us to become involved in the sport of dog showing. With Beau by my side as a novice handler we together went on to receive over 20 owner handled group placements. Of course, all of this was possible because of a GREAT Mastiff. We now have some lovely children and grandchildren from our Beau, but no one will ever be able to fill that spot in our heart where Beau remains. If someone told me years ago this is how my life would be today, I never would of believed it, but this is the, "Magic of Mastiffs".
