| Little Abbie, WP754323/09, born December 27, 1996, was bred by Larry and Carolilne O'Brien. On January 31, 2000, her AKC Certificate was issued to Janice Morgan. Abbie's last litter (of 12 puppies) was born December 28, 1999, and she has been bred again and presumed to be pregnant again. Abbie is dam to the 10 month old male, Big Ken, that was purchased from auction with her. Copenhaver's Little Abbie was consigned at the SW Auction consignment auction on 2/27/99 (sold for $470.00), consigned by Chuck Bacon, RR 1, Box 273, Schell Ctiy, MO 64783, USDA license 43-A-2366. Abbie had to have been purchased by someone else at this auction, since Janice Morgan acquired her on 1/31/00. |
These pictures of Abbie were taken 7 days AFTER the auction, she is already healthier in appearance and all cleaned up. Top left to right - Abbie's left rear leg permantant scar outer and inner thigh it looks like a old dog bite; not the dark ring behind collar, this is not a stain it is an indentation from her choke collar she had on also sores on front of neck from it; back view of scar on neck. Bottom left to right - front view; she was done posing for pictures; side view and obviously pregnant.
Abbie safely delivered 10 live puppies on 6/18/2000. Just imagine, 10 little lives that will NEVER contribute to auction breeding. Ten Mastiffs that will NOT live in the commercial dog breeding industry. The cycle stopped with each one of them. These are the first pictures of Abbie's darlings:
