AKC# WP919515/01 Date of Birth June 13, 19990 Fawn Breeder: Jeanie Johnson Dusty was bought at auction April 26, 2003. She weighs about 90 lbs, but was considered big enough for breeding. She has had a broken leg at some point which severely stunted her growth. It was apparently repaired as there is a large scar on that leg (not visible in the pictures). Dusty is a busy girl, never stops moving, and would love to get to the cats! Dusty may have been purchased as a pet since her AKC shows she was owned by Kraig Sharp. With her papers, we received x-rays and an "Application for Radiographic Evaluation" to OFA with Sharp's name but apparently the papers were never submitted. OEMTF received a statement: "Dusty will be 3 years old this month. She is out of a 220 lb. sire and a 155 lb dam. She had a broken back leg at 4 months old, which stunted her growth dramatically. She has a very sweet disposition and is great with kids. She had given birth to one litter of 10 puppies, when our Rottweiler had gotten in with her. She was a very good mother. She will make an excellent pet or breeder. She receives heartworm prevention monthly and will be due for Parvo and Rabies Boosters in July." AKC registration papers on Dusty were issued to Vaughn (the seller) on August 21, 2002 and ACA registration was also issued that same date. APRI registration was issued on September 11, 2002. OEMTF purchased Dusty's maternal granddam (Andrada's Apricot Diamond) on March 30, 2002. |
