Welcome to the bitch and moan portion of my page.
Well I guess one of the reasons why I decided to make this web page is because I wanted to express my oppinion about how I think the music industry is making me sick. I'm only 20 right now too so don't think I'm some guy who was born in the 50's just talking about "kids today". I grew up around the type of music out today. It seems that now there are all these "me too" bands out (mainly alternative) that just bore me. Nothing original or hard hitting. I mean there is no band that sound like Led Zeppelin and yet I can't tell the difference between a Pearl Jam song and an "old" STP song (I like STP by the way). There is no band that comes even close to being like the Beatles and yet the Gin Blossoms and Matchbox 20 sound like the same band. And the music is just so bland. Now before anybody gets pissed I'm not saying these musicians aren't tallented, I just don't see why everyone goes ga ga over alternative? I'm not saying I don't like any alternative groups. Nervana was a great band and so was STP (they are getting back together :) ). I just don't understand the whole craze.
Another oppinion that I want to express is why do some people hate Jewish people so much? I have a couple of Jewish friends and they are some of the coolest people I know (Myers you are the man). Just cause some fucking nazi is jelous that some Jewish guy makes more money then he is and that the best people in the movie business are jewish is just stupid. I'm glad we have jews in the good old U.S.of A. because if we didn't we wouldn't have all those great Spielburg or Mel Brooks flicks. I know you are probably wondering why I don't mention any other people in here (black, hispanic, ect.). It's because you would just here the same thing you hear from anyone else talking about racism. I have a good friend who's Portorican and one that's half black half white.
Now I get the stereotype here on base that since I listen to metal that I worship satan. That is not true. I am bapist (and not by birth or anything like that either). I go to church (I love ya Brookfield). Just because I listen to Cradle of Filth doesn't mean I agree with the stuff they say (half the time you can't understand it anyways).
Something that has been worrying me lately is I have friends that are now into that whole raver scene. Now don't get me wrong, some of the music is cool, I just don't like the fact that people at those clubs doing drugs and other stupid stuff like that. I don't care what people say, if I had kids I would not want them going to a rave.
