MUSHROOMHEAD VS. SLIPKNOT:
Mushroomhead is a band from Cleveland who rules the local metal scene and is a favorite of mine. They have crazy stage shows and wear masks too hide their identity. Now then there is Slipknot. They are a national band now touring with Coal Chamber, Machine Head, and Amen. For a while now, their has been a rivaalry and fight between these two bands over how Mushroomhead accuses Slipknot of copying there style. The show Saturday night on Cleveland really made this whole thing blow up. Apparently, a member of Slipknot made some knock against how "Mushroomhead gives Cleveland a bad name" and that sparked some big trouble. A member of Shroom then started throwing bottles at members of Slipknot and had some more verbal insults for each other. A Shroom fan hit the Slipknot drummer with a bottle resulting in the drummer punching him in the face and getting arrested. Now here is my thoughts on this:
Mushroomhead is one of my favorite bands and have completely there own style. The comment Slipknot made about Shroom I think is completely unneccessary, but if I had too blame one side, it would be Shroom. Who cares if they copied your style!!! No knock on Shroom, but they copied Gwar, who copied Kiss who copied Alice Cooper and so on and so on. The music stlyes of both bands are completley different and both bands kick overall ass! If you have anything too say about this, let me know.(9/12)
MORE LIMP:
Limp Bizkit will be releasing a new video for the track Re-Arranged, tomorrow and from what I hear, is a cool video. It ends with the band dying and Wes saying "Are we in heaven?", and Fred says, "No man, if we were in heaven, Method Man would be here." The last part the screen says "Too Be Continued". This ending will lead too Limp's next single, N'2-Gether Now.(9/12)
