Chapter Fourteen: It's a Bird! It's a Plane! No, It's the Armor of The Comet!
Rowen stopped at the edge of the forest. Amy and Dais stopped behind him. The waves gently lapped at the shore and the sound of the ocean was like music to their ears. Rowen jumped down the small drop and helped Amy down. Dais dropped down after them.
"So, what's the plan of action?" he asked them.
"Well, if my armor is in space, that's where I'll have to go," said Amy.
"I think if you hold on to me, then my air bubble should provide you with the air you need to breath. Once you get your armor on, you can produce your own air," said Rowen.
"Ok, but what about me?" asked Dais.
"You stay here and make sure no matrixes head into space and to keep the peace," said Rowen.
"I'll never get to see space," mumbled Dais under his breath.
"What did you say?" asked Amy, a sly look on her face.
"Nothing," said Dais quickly.
"Whatever," said Amy, rolling her eyes.
"Will you two stop bickering. Thank you. Armor of Strata, Tao Chi!" said Rowen, transforming. He flipped down his visor and motion for Amy to hop on. She was a little hesitant at first, but finally wrapped her arms around Rowen's neck and leaned on his back.
"No peeking Dais," said Amy in a warning tone. Dais agreed and a blue bubble surrounded Rowen and Amy. With no countdown, they zoomed into the sky.
"Good luck!" said Dais from the ground.
"They'll need it," said a voice from behind Dais. Dais spun on his heals.
"Gash?" said Dais. A man walked out with glowing eyes.
"Yes Dais. I'm here to kill them, but you'll do for an appetizer," said Gash, drawing his long sword.

Sage and I ran up the mountain side, with about fifty soldiers behind us. The slope was leveling out and the soldiers were gaining ground.
"Why don't you fight back?" I asked Sage in between gasps of air.
"I can't, you might get hurt," said Sage, panting as well.
"I can take care of myself, for your information," I said, slightly angered. Sage took one long look at me and said as he started to slow down,
"Ok, fight them off as long as you can, but if I say to run for it, run to the top and find your armor. Got it?" There was no time for an answer, for the soldiers were on us. Sage went in fighting. I jumped up on a rock that was behind a tree. One lone branch stuck out stubbornly into the road. I pulled it back and yelled,
"Hey, Tin Man, come and get me!" About five of the soldiers charged at me. I waited til they were almost on me before I let go of the branch. Five metal heads rolled on the ground as the five bodies collapsed with green black smoke rising out of them.
"Low bridge," I said, smiling. But that was wiped off my face as about five more came after me. I looked at the ground and picked up a little pebble. Without a second thought, I put it in my hands and closed my eyes. The soldiers stopped and looked at each other, wondering why the stone began hover above my hands. My eyes shot open as the tiny pebble shot through the five soldiers before bouncing off a tree harmlessly. I silently cheered at my success. Smoke drifted from the small hole and went into the sky.
"No problem," I said, before looking into the mass of soldiers surrounding Sage. He looked at me and nodded for me to run. I wondered why.
"Armor of Halo, Tao Chi!" said Sage and then it hit me. He didn't want to worry about where he was aiming, because I might get hurt. So I ran up the last fifteen feet of the mountain. When I got there, I saw a flat area with a tiny opening on the far side of the area. It was big enough to fit a person, well a skinny person at best. I turned around at the sound of pebbles falling down the slope, to see a man with two swords in his hands. He wore a red cape and his face was covered by a silver visor. On his armor, was a long slash mark. He started to approach me.

Amy looked around her as the world she knew disappeared and was replaced with stars and planets.
"It's beautiful up here," said Amy in awe. Her silvery white hair was blown against Rowen's dark blue armor as they scanned space for her orb.
"This should be easy, trying to spot your orb," said Rowen sarcastically. Amy rolled her eyes and kept looking. Off in the direction of Mars, she thought she saw a glistening of blue against the black. She squinted, trying to see what was there. Her answer was made clear.
"Rowen, look. It's coming this way, from the direction of Mars," she said. Rowen turned his head in the direction Amy had pointed out. He saw the orb coming this way.
"Look, I'm going to get into it's path. Get ready to grab it," said Rowen. Amy released one arm from Rowen's neck and stretched it out in the orb's direction. She kept her eyes on the orb and tensed up as the glow got brighter. Soon, she could see it clearly. She stretched her fingers out and they grasped the orb.
"Knowledge," said Amy softly. Her body was surrounded by a flash and soon she was in white and dark blue sub armor. She closed her eyes and took a breath before letting go and saying,
"Armor of the Comet, Tao Chi!" Stars came and swirled around her. In a bright explosion, she was in her armor. It was dark blue and similar to Rowen's, but cut slightly different. She flipped down her visor and placed her hands in front of her, touching at the wrists. A blue sphere surrounded her, filled with air. She looked at Rowen and nodded. They began their decent to earth.

"Web of Deception!" said Dais, as his extensor blades shot out and connected with solid ground. From the points from which the blades touched, fine white threads shot out in every direction. Gash jumped up and twirled his long sword, cutting any threads that came near him. Dais grunted in dissatisfaction. Gash removed from his belt four tiny daggers that he threw at Dais. One knocked his extensor blades away from him. The second cut through the chain of his morning star. The third cut his nunchuk in half. The fourth stabbed Dais in his left thigh. Dais winced in pain and removed the dagger. Gash smiled evilly.
"That dagger was poisoned. Pleasant dreams," said Gash as Dais passed out.
"Hey, Gash, ready to tangle?" asked Amy as she landed behind him, an arrow strung on her bow. Rowen landed on the other side of Gash, saw Dais, and said,
"What did you do to him?"
"Who, Dais? I poisoned him. First they pass out, then they have a seizure, followed by blacking out, then death. Simple, no?" asked Gash sarcastically. He pulled out a four pointed disk and tossed it at Rowen. He ducked and Gash smiled. The disk made a U-turn and headed back for the person that had thrown it. Rowen didn't see it and before Amy could warn him, it slammed into his back and exploded. A white gas came drifting from where the disk had exploded. Rowen inhaled and said,
"What is that horrible smell?" His eyelids grew heavy and he sank to the ground, asleep.
"Sleeping gas!" said Amy, quickly putting on her visor. She shot off five arrows at Gash, who sliced through them with his sword.
"You have no knowledge of what I can do," said Gash, charging at her, trying to run her through. Amy jumped out of the way and said,
"And knowledge is power." She landed and drew an arrow and placed it in her bow. Her armor began to glow as she said,
"Reign of the Celestial Stars!" White light drifted down from the sky as it powered up the arrow. She let the arrow fly. The energy slammed into Gash and exploded. The waters on the beach glistened from the large amount of light from the explosion. Gash was gone and Amy powered down. She ran over to Rowen who was waking up.
"Rowen, get up, we have to get Dais back to the others, so they can help him," said Amy worriedly. Rowen shook his head and powered down. They each placed an arm around their shoulders and began to swiftly walk back to the meeting place, the sun rising over the ocean behind them.
