Epilogue

Three weeks later . . .

Ryo, Sai, Sage, Kento, and Rowen raced for the boy's bathroom, knowing that the other took too long. There was a collision in front of the door. Ryo had stopped in time and jumped over the crash pile.

"Maybe tomorrow, guys," he said evilly as he slammed the door. The guys pounded at the door, only to hear the water hitting the shower floor as a response. Well, let's review Ryo. First, you and the guys are in the park when five girls mysteriously ask for your names and the leader says you are her brother. Your stories match and she tells me about Mia and Yuli. Then she invites us to live here in this huge house. White Blaze has a play mate with her horse Starlight. We live a mile from Han'a High and a mile from Shinsai University. It's too weird, but I like it. Hey, I mean, I lose two people that I have taken care of since the fall of Talpa three years ago and gain a long lost sister that I was told had been a stillborn. All in three weeks! thought Ryo as he showered.

"Crystal! Come on Crystal! You've been in there forever! Let me have a turn!" yelled Amy from behind the door. I wrapped my wet hair with a towel and put on my purple bathrobe.

"Hold your horses. I had to take a cold shower, for crying out loud! Rose, Selene, and Lita used it all up!" I said, tying my robe in place. I opened the door to see Amy with her mouth open.

"When I get my hands on them . . . " her voice trailed off as she slammed the door.

"Maybe if we'd gotten up earlier," I said to myself as I entered my room. Everyone person had their own room to decorate. My room was purple with pictures of unicorns and a Pegasus. The covers and sheets on my bed were purple. I found purple a soothing color. On my bed rested my teddy bear. He was grey with age, but was still in one piece. His glass black eyes have long lost their shine and the pink stitches from the nose are gone, but still I love him. On my bookcase, I had all of the classics and all my favorites. Plus a stack of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT comics. On my desk, by the window, sat my computer. All our rooms had doors to the balcony. I sat on my bed and looked at White Bear, my teddy bear.

"Looks like I'll be a junior in high school tomorrow. I hate being the youngest. Everyone else is a senior, well, except for Amy, but she's in all the hard classes," I sighed and flipped on my bed. I reached for the remote under the pillow. A tv rested on a small table next to the book case. I clicked it on and watched tv.

Amy walked into her room. It was dark blue with white stars and clouds and a moon painted on the ceiling. Her bed sheets had comets blazing around on it. She had a high tech computer, lots of books by Shakespeare and other reading material on her favorite topics. On her walls were pictures of star clusters, galaxies, and comets. She sat on her chair, pulled out All Well That Ends Well and began to read. Lita was resting on her bed, which had a picture of a volcano on it. Her room was red and on the sides were giant volcanos erupting. She had a stereo, a tv, a computer, and a bookcase full of books by her favorite author, K. A. Applegate. On her walls were pictures of the Phoenix, the legendary firebird, and of volcanos exploding. She got up and turned on her favorite CD with the music from The Reign of The Firebird Suite. Music filled the room as she sighed and sat down again.

Selene sat on her chair, deeply engrossed in her Sailor Moon manga. Her room was light blue, which was light blue at the ceiling, and got darker as it traveled down her walls. Her ceiling was painted like water, with illusions of light and movement to make you feel underwater. Her bed spread had a giant dolphin on it. On her book case, were books on the ocean and its animal life, and Sailor Moon magna. A whole shelf was devoted to her collection of glass dolphins. She had a computer and a tv.

Rose sat on her floor, playing her orange game boy. She flung it down in anger.

"I hate that Gary. I always beat the Elite Four and lose to him because half my pokemon are dead! Argh!" she restarted her game yet again. Her room was orange and filled with pokemon merchandise. On her bed was an Onix blanket, her favorite pokemon. She had a computer and a tv. Her bookcase was full of pokemon comics and manga.

Sage sat in his room and meditated. Calm music floated into his ears from his stereo. His tv was off. His room was light green and looking at his ceiling, you felt like you were in a forest. The ceiling was painted like a canopy of trees with some light sifting through the leaves. His bed was covered in green sheets. The room was spotless. On his bookcase were books on three-fourths of the shelves. The other shelf was dedicated to all his hair stuff.

Rowen was deeply engrossed in a book on physics. He was lying on his back on his bed which was covered by a blue blanket with yellow stars on it. His room was dark blue and on his ceiling were glow-in-the-dark stars, moons, comets, and planets. His tv was on and the news was on. The volume was low. His computer rested on his desk. His books on his bookshelf held everything known to the world about science, math, and his favorite topic, mythology and legends.

Ryo entered his room and sat there. His room was red and so were his bed sheets. His computer and tv were off. His bookshelf held tons of comics of any sort. He grabbed the remote and turned on the Discovery Channel, where he watched a special on tigers.

Sai fed his fish that were in his aquarium. His room was light blue, and his sheets held a killer whale on it. He had a tv and a computer in his room. On his bookshelf were books of every size on marine biology and oceanography. He took out one on whales and began to read.

Kento sat on his bed, listening to rock and roll from his stereo. His orange room was a mess and his unmade bed with its orange crumpled sheets at one end sat not cared for. His tv was off and his computer sat gathering dust. On his bookshelf were comics from Sailor Moon, every Dragon Ball one, and Pokemon. He loved comics.

The sound of the doorbell brought everyone out of their rooms and running down the stairs.

"Pizza's here!" Ryo opened the door while the guys, Amy, Lita, Selene, and Rose drooled at the smell of the pizza. A boy with aquamarine hair and ice blue eyes stood there with a cocky smile on his face. He was about five foot five and held the pizza on his hand, resting one corner of the box on his shoulder. He wore sneakers and blue jeans, with an ice blue tee under a cheesy white jacket that said ‘Toyama Pizzeria' on it.

"Did someone order a pizza with extra cheese?" he asked.

"Oh my gosh, is that you Blake?" asked Selene in shock.

"Selene? What are you doing here? You aren't going to Han'a High school are you?"

     "You bet. You?"

    "Yep."

"Come in and join us for the pizza and tell your old neighbor what you have been up to." Blake walked in and looked around the house, and saw Kento and Rose dive for the pizza. He pulled it out of the way.

"Hey!" Blake yelled as he ran into the kitchen. He stopped as he nearly collided with me as I carried my hot mac and cheese to the table.

"Who are you?" I asked defensively.

"I'm Blake, and who are you?"

"I'm Crystal, and this is my house," I said as I placed my bowl on the table. The others walked in and sat down. They dug into the pizza.

    "Want a slice?" asked Sage.

    "No thanks. Pizza's gross."

"Whatever you say, Crystal, you have no idea what you're missing," said Sage as he began to eat again. I ate my lunch quietly and wondered what life would bring as time went by and school started again.
